Info about the game

Post by kabukiman »

Some informations about this scenario.
You are in the south of Stygia. A cousin (Snefren) of the king has revolted and wants to be king. He soon gathered a small army of foreign mercenaries (that's you!) and his own men. He managed in a battle to destroy the weak army that the local governor had, and so, Snefren is now master of most of the south of the country. He will now go to the north, in direction of the capital; he is thinking that if he is fast enouth, he may defeat another army before they get a strong force, conquering the capital; the other nobles and clergy will probably recognize him as king. It's risky, but it may work.
The first time you saw Snefren, you all suffered a shock. Most of the stygian commoners (specially in the south) are dark skinned; the nobles, the priests and a part of the population are dusky. But they are all short and thin. The "king" was different: very tall (like a cimmerian), with an ivory skin... and golden eyes, like no normal human could have. After some questions to the other stygians, you discovered that all members of the aristocracy (not the same as the nobles) were like that.

But nothing of this concerns to you. The "king" has ordered that Nub, a giant kushite officer of the army, takes a group of soldiers and track the governor that managed to run away from the battle with some soldiers. And you were chosen!

The group have Nub as captain, one cimmerian, one aesir, a zingaran, one zamoran, one pathoan, two aquilonians (one is Aelianus), 4 stygians (one is an half mad warrior that calls himself the herald of Xotli and mumbles words that nobody understands, but everyone ignores him).
