OOC

Thousands of years ago, in the Hyborian age, a hero changed the world- Conan. But other heroes who have been forgetten existed, and this is their story.

You must have an impressive wall of games and books, Jonathan. I only have about twenty good old books. And a handful of RPG books. Most of my games and books got lost in one of the moves many years ago. Now, I have most stuff digitally. I find it really cool to be able to read old articles from White Dwarf and Dragon magazine. Would you care to send a snapshot of your gaming corner? I know some of the guys at YSDC did that some time ago.

On that note, did you guys join the secret Shogott this year?

I don't have that many RPG books, but I do have shelves lined with all of my interactive gamebooks from the past thirty years or so. Many of my board games are in boxes in one of my closets, but I've filled another closet with most of the games that I've bought in the past couple of years. Most of my computer games are digital copies, but I do have quie a few physical copies of games. The boxes are mostly put away in larger boxes as well, but I do have a rack with the jewel cases/DVD cases. I've seen the "shelfies" that were posted on YSDC. I could take some pictures and post them when I have time, maybe later this weekend.

I didn't join Secret Shoggoth this year. Lack of time again.

I see, I guess that´s understandable. Don´t make it a have-to-do thing, I was just curious. :D

If you guys have the time, though. I´ve set up the Rune Quest game and the Land of Always Winter over at Obsidian Portal.
They have a neat layout on the site now, and I´ve activated forums for them.

They will be run on two boards as Antarctica 1983.

Pick which you´d rather want to use and I´ll continue recruiting.

Well, the scenario has ended. I hope you liked, even if I must admit I had to change it a lot, since playing with just person isn't the same.
Thank you to stay until the end.

You're welcome, and thank you for running it! I enjoyed the scenario. What would have been different about it if we'd had more players? May I read The Korajan Servant thread now?

When you're ready, let me know, and I'll move the game into the Hall of Fame.

Yes, you can.

Well, the first time I runned this scenario, the group had to figth the others like gladiators (with the promess that the winners would take the survivors as captives, but of course it was only a ruse to weaken both group). The player who had discovered the true, explained quickly to his companions, there was a huge carnage, they had to run (discovering latter that the weapons stolen from the captors were full of jewels, it was good reward). Since in here, the player dropped, I had to improvise, create the orgy (instead the combat) and finish as quick as possible.
Anyway, I'm thinking of creating a scenario of delta green in a couple of months.

I'd be up for that!

Taking the priest hostage really helped keep the combat to a minimum in this game, but it's good that there's a way to win without too much fighting.

I am usually very open to creative solutions. And with fight, there is the risk of some players dying... but it's a easier path to choose.
