You leave the house and head to the church. You arrive there with no interference. The sun is bright and sunny, and everyone who sees you in the street smiles and waves to you.

Eddie smiles and waves back. As he does, he looks around the area for any trace of last night's events.

You park your car and walk to where you captured the man last night and there is fresh gravel on the ground.

Richard finds the scence of last nights event odd on this calm bright sunny day, he looks down at the new gravel on the ground and moves some of it with his foot to see if there is anything underneath.

In the light of day, Eddie can see new details.

You move the gravel but don't notice anything there. Eddie can see some specks of blood leading up to where he eventually went down.

Richard walks around the outside of the church at a distance taking in all of the entrances and exits, also looking to see if the building appears to have a basement or not.

"I can see traces of blood from last night," says Eddie, "but they covered it up quickly with the fresh gravel."

You walk around the church and you see windows, it has a side door and like most buildings here, you can see there is probably a basement, but you can't see an windows to it.

"I guess we'd better go inside," says Eddie. "Most of us should probably just walk right in the front door. A group this large can't exactly avoid detection. But there's nothing to stop one or two of us from slipping in the side door and snooping around while the rest of us draw all of the attention. I'll be with the front door group."

Richard walking back up to the group says "I think we shoul all stay together."

As you walk in there is a chapel with windows, and stairs on the side that appear they go up to a balcony on either side of you. And then pews lined in rows, and a pulpit at the front.

The paintings and sculptures decorate the large room, and appear to all be Christian in origin.

At the back of the chapel is a small door on either side leading further back.

"Good, there's nobody about," whispers Eddie. "Let's try one of those two doors at the back." He looks around for any trace left by the man who had fled inside here last night.

OOC,Which side of the church had the side door? I think we should head to the opposite side. Whatever we hope to find here is more likely to be further away from the entrances.

Richard follows Eddie to the door farthest from the side entrance.

You walk over to the right side of the chapel passing by the Alter and come to a small door. You try it and inside is a storage closet. It is full of shelves. On the shelves are various religious items, candle sticks, candles, crosses, etc.. Some paintings are also in here, as you look at them, they are of the Virgin Mary and Jesus.

"Nothing unusual there," whispers Eddie, closing the door. "Let's try the other one."

You cross over the church the other small door and open it. It leads into a small room. To the left is a door that leads outside. To the right is a hallway that runs the width of the church. And across the small entry room is another small door.

Looking down the hall there are 2 more doors.

Eddie tries the small door, reasoning that it's probably another closet.

Just as you open the small door, the door in the middle of the hall opens and you see a pastor step out, he sees you and looks surprised, "I'm sorry I didn't see you," and he ducks back in his door.

On the other side of the small door you see stairs going down.

Eddie shuts the door he had just opened and turns to face the pastor, heading into the hall towards his door. "Ah, good morning, Mister..."
