"This mausoleum," whispered Alyssa,

• "it's the one we were inside earlier when we explored the tunnels."

"That may be our best chance of getting out of here," says Eddie. "We can retrace our route through the tunnels back to the church, where we left our cars. We can also see if the Reverend's body is still where he fell. But where are Richard and Scott? I'd hate to leave them behind."

"If we go to look for them, we may end up getting lost again," Norman points out. "It seems difficult to find our way around here." He seems reluctant to leave, but even more reluctant to stay.

"I'd hate to be left behind..." said Alyssa.

Quandary?,Do we go back for players who don't post?

OOC: That is a quandary, that I'll let the players resolve.

Norman had always been fascinated by fantasy. Tales of heroes facing off against insurmountable odds had always appealed to him as a lad, and that hadn't faded as he became an adult. He had jumped at the chance to help on this quest, and while it had not been nearly as romantic as he was expecting( more like terrifying) he knew he could never forgive himself if left the others behind. Especially in front of the lovely Alyssa.

"We cannot risk us all getting lost. I will uh, find the others. Ms. Alyssa, you and uh, Edward should take the others and head into the tunnels. If I am not back in ten minutes go on without me."

"Good luck," says Eddie, solmenly shaking Norman's hand. "I'll protect them." He listens at the mausoleum door before opening it to be as certain as he can that nobody is inside.

Alyssa gave Norman a good luck kiss--just a peck--on his cheek. Then she went and stood behind Eddie.

The thick stone door makes it impossible to hear anything, but you open it a small amount and shine a light inside and you can see there is no one there. Its rather plain inside. You see the trapdoor that leads back down into the tunnels.

"Let's all get inside," says Eddie. "We'll shut the door, just in case anyone or anything is hunting us. Then I'll take a look down in the tunnels to make sure it's safe."

Norman blushes and stammers, eager to say something to what could be the last time he'd see Alyssa, who he has grown quite fond of. Instead he turns to Eddie. "Take ah, care of her."

He rushes off and tries to find the others. "R...Richard, Scott?"

"I will, Norman," says Eddie as he goes. It's obvious to him that Norman has also fallen for Alyssa, which he can completely understand. He hopes Norman is able to find the others and lead them to safety. He knows he'll feel terrible if anything happens to him.

"A lovely man," said Alyssa about Norman. "I hope I gave him a little extra courage!"

She pulled to the mausoleum door. "See anything down there, Eddie?"

"I hope so too," says Eddie. "It was good of you to do that, and I'm sure it helped." He kneels down and lifts the trapdoor slightly to take a look below.

OOC: I should have started a new chapter when you left the Colonel's house. I forgot to, so I'll start it now.
