The Car speeds through the streets, making a left and then a right. You appear to be heading North, but you quickly get confused from the side streets he seems to be taking.

When you ask your question the woman in the front seat turns back to look at you, "it won't be long now."

Richard discreetly pulls his gun out and has it in his hand down below where the man and woman can see it "I didnt ask how long it takes to get there I asked where your clinic is?"

The man seems to be ignoring you. He turns onto a long stretch of road and is going North East direction. You can see the ocean off to your right. You have left the main part of the city.

I pull my gun out and put it to the back of his head and say "Stop the car now"

"I need to get him there before he dies." he says still driving. "Or do you wish to shoot me and be in an uncontrolled car." He speeds up.

"We are almost there hold onto your horses. " he begins to slow down as he turns right onto a small dirt road. There is only a short road that ends in a small chapel up ahead.

You have the gun pointing at the woman who just starts laughing.

Richard knowing that he is now in trouble pulls the trigger with the gun aimed at the womans head.

The woman tries to dodge as you pull the trigger.

Failing the dodge, the gun goes off and strikes the woman at short range. (roll damage).

The man looks at you wild eyed, "You crazy son of a bitch," he says. The woman screams as the shot goes off striking her in the head. She slumps forward and you aren't sure if you killed her or not. The man turns the car and floors it. You can see it heading for the ocean as he bails out the driver door.

You can see he has propped a stick to hold down the gas pedal. You reach for your door handle and quickly realize this model has no inside door handles in the backseat.

OOC: Ok I figure that Richard is fairly familiar with cars of his time and would know how to open the door even if it is from the outside I am just not sure how to describe how I do it since I personally am not famaliar with back seat car doors of this time frame.

OOC: the statement below is based on Richard knowing the handle is on the outside of the door if this is wrong I will do something else

Richard smashed the window with the butt of his gun and opens the door from the outside and jumps out of the car attempting to roll as he jumpa out

Smashing the window is easy enough for Richard, you reach out and open the door. You are about to roll out when the car slams into the ocean throwing you out of the car, and into the ocean. The water is cold in the night air, but you aren't hurt by the accident, but this is more rocks than sand here.

You are able to stand and it is a little over waist deep. Your clothes are soaked. You see the car, that had continued into the water begin to sink, 2 wounded people still in it.

The driver that bailed out before you, gets to his feet and obviously wounded hobbles towards the chapel as you are standing.

You remember you were holding your gun in your hand.
Richard, make a very difficult strength check to hold onto the pistol. Str*5 / 2. So 30% to hold onto the pistol. Otherwise it is lost in the ocean.

Richard, yes I'm aware of that. But you only said you were pulling out 1. So you could only lose 1.
The gun slipped out of your grasp and flew into the dark water, somewhere. As you stand up on the slippery rocks, you can see the man hobbling to the chapel door.

Richard immediatley starts making his way to the shore as fast as he can.

Richard wades the 10 feet to shore as he turns he sees the last of the car sink beneath the waves.

The driver has disappeared into the chapel.

After reaching shore Richard finds some place that gives him some cover and a view of the Chapel and looks around to see what else is visible from his view point. While doing this he pulls out his other gun and ensures that it is ready to go.
Ben,I am looking for other buildings or homes and any lights or signs of life from the Chapel or cars in the parking lot of the chapel. I am assuming this is the Chapel I was told about earlier.

Your gun got wet so you aren't 100% sure it will work. Right by the church is a house. There are lights on in the house, no lights on that you see in the church.

You are now sitting in the dark, you are cold and wet. You hear splashing out in the ocean. But nothing moving.

Richard starts to move farther inland away from the ocean after all of the stories of sea monsters from the others. He tries to take a path farther inland that keeps him out of sight of anyone watching from the Chapel or the house.

As you move away you come to the paved road you see a sign that says Granite street.

Richard stays in the shadows off the side of the street and makes his way back towards town.

You follow the road for a mile or two and you get back to town without incident. The trolly that runs through town is going by, you can hop on for 5 cents if you want.

The trolly is empty except for you and the driver. "Late night for a swim," he says as he notices your wet clothes. As you get in and sit down the trolly rumbles to life and continues to head its way towards down town.

Richard replies "Lets just say its been a REALLY strange night with alot of odd things going on"

Richard keeps a close eye on the road to ensure the trolly is travelling its normal path. He will look to get off a short walk from the Woods house unless he see's any of the others as the trolly is driving.

The trolly is on tracks, so can only travel the same path. The trolly followed the road along the beach and then to an area you are familiar with. You are only a mile from the woods house when you get to the wharf. All is quiet a few cars pass by, but no one seems to be following you.

Richard gets off the trolly when he is closet to the woods house (but at least a half mile away) and starts walking towards the house keeping an eye out for anyone that may be following him or anyone that maybe watching the house from a parked car or street corner down the street from the house.

There are no police and you recognize everyone. Only Aunt Loosa seems to be missing from the group.
