The Library is a medium sized wooden building painted white.

When you enter, you see a couple other people sitting in the library and it appears to be a normal library.

Richard takes in the inside of the library as he casualy walks in. He walks over to the main librarian's desk and ask with a smile "Good Afternoon, this is a nice library for this size town. I was wondering if you could help me with a quick few things. Is there a historical society in town here anywhere? I know this town goes way back to the beginings of our great country and thought that might be the best place to do a little research on the history of the town."

A man in his mid 30's stands before you, he appears to be the only one working in the library. He smiles, "Hello good sir, there is no need for a historical society in Rockport because of Brian. You just need to talk to Brian."

"You have the pleasure of speaking to Brian now." he said.

You notice a small sign that says 'Librarian: Brian Sanders'

Richard laughs a little as he looks down at the sign on the desk and replies "Nice to meet you Brian, what is the history behind the Red Warehouse out there on the pier?" Tichard takes a glance around the room noting any pictures on the walls.

You see a weird face come over him, "Brian thinks that is a waste of time and is not sure why all the painters seem fascinated with it. If you want history, let Brian tell you about the war, or the city founders, or light houses. Brian can even tell you about the quarries, or the religious battles. Brian knows about all the history of the town."

Richard finds it very odd that Brian keeps speaking in the 3rd person about himself and wonders if he is some type of savant as they have been known to have other social issues although they excel in one narrow field. So Richard tries a direct approach "Is Brian aware of any occult activity at the building threwout the history of the building? Is there any occult history in the town itself?"

"Occult, well there was the old Witch House up in Pigeon Cove." Brian responds.

Brian smiles and takes a seat offering you one as well.
.
"In 1692 John and Elizabeth Procter were convicted of witch craft. John was immediately hanged, but not before pleading for his wife's life and their unborn child. Elizabeth was indeed with child and instead of death, she was banished from Salem to never return. Elizabeth and her two sons fled Salem and settled up in Pigeon Cove where they built her a house that is more a fortress than home. There she bore and raised her 3rd child, but no one ever found out if it was a girl or a boy. Screams and strange lights were reported at all hours of the night coming from the Witch House.
No one is sure what happened to the child. The 2 sons eventually stopped coming into town for supplies, and the lights and noises stopped. The house seemed empty and dead for years. Eventually the city took possession and it has had a few owners since that time in the early 1700's. But Elizabeth Procter and her 3 children simply vanished."

"Brian heard a Dr. Tupper bought it some 50 years back, but only lived in it a couple years. Recently an old crazy lady, Deandre Karlin, is living there. Claims she's some distant relative of the Procters, but with the good doctor dying just a few months ago, no one knows whats going to become of the house or Deandre," he says.

Richard hands his pad and pen that he has been jotting notes down in over to Ben and ask "Could Brian draw me a map on how to get to the house from here?" Richard smiles at Brian, trying to ensure that Brian is comfortable with Richard while asking him for the directions then goes on "So has Brian every heard of any references about coming to Rockport for 'True Enlightenment' ?" Richard pauses for a moment then continues " I saw that on a odd statue once, I always thought it was odd because it was enscribed 'For True Enlightenment', followed by '42.66 x 70.62' enscribed after the words, I noticed that Rockport Mass is at those longitude and latitude coordinates. Does this mean anything to Brian?"

Brian pushes the notepad back, "it's easy to get to, just take Main street here, and merge onto Beach. It turns into Granite St. 188 Granite, up about 3-4 miles on the left." He goes into a thoughtful pose, "True Enlightnment, hmmm, Brian hasn't heard that before, but Brian read something about that. Where was that??"

"Give Brian until tomorrow and Brian find it..." he trails off as he goes down a row of books.

Richard watches as Brian walks down the row then turns and leaves. As he walks out of the library he looks around for any signs of a newspaper company or hall of records.

You don't see any newspaper or hall of records, but you do see Warren sitting in the car in front of the Library.
