"All I'm pointing out is that if it got her, chances are it can get the officer here too. And any of us, if we go off on our own. So either we should all go back to the surface together, or we should wait here. No more splitting up.

The 3 of you all walk together towards the cave, one of you calls out, but gets no response. You walk into the cave with the pool that leads to the quarry, a bit worried you would find her hunched over the pool, but the cave is deadly silent.
There is no sign of Alyssa at all.
