Most of the group began to run down the beach to the south, though Valerie Soames could only hobble slowly.

Tobias Maddox,[b]Tobias[/b] saw [b]Leonek[/b] surface next to the overturned boat, his arm around a very bedraggled [b]Salem[/b]. [b]Salem[/b] clung to a handhold on the side of the boat.

As they get closer Tobias says, "It Is them! Looks like Salem is wounded. Can you help Leonek pull him out?" He points to where two people are floundering in the water beside an upturned boat just off shore.

"Where?!" Brook makes a few jumps to see where the people are. When the men are pointed out, she heads for the water, not really sure what she can do, but intent on trying nevertheless.

Elliot can't see whats going on, but going by the concern of the others, heads as quick as he can towards the beach.
Elliot is too worried about his 'Aunt' to see muchelse.

Brook Davies,Far to the south, [b]Brook[/b] could see that the beach got narrower until it ended at the base of cliffs that rose above it, not far past a large shack with several boats outside of it. There was another small boat in the water past that point, near the base of the cliff, but that boat was upside-down...and there was blood on the water! [b]Brook[/b] saw [b]Leonek[/b] next to the overturned boat, and [b]Salem[/b] clung to a handhold on the side of the boat. She could probably make out more details if she got closer, but that was all she could tell from here without binoculars or something similar.

OOC,Nobody who failed their Spot Hidden rolls can see the boat or the people yet at this distance, and it will take you some time before you get close enough.

Tobias hurries down the beach, cursing as he runs. "Has anyone got a gun or anything - just in case?" He shouts to the others running with him.

Chad rushes along with the others in the direction of the gunshot. Thinking to himself. "My inquiry of our new 'friends' isn't over, but whatever that was we need to find out what happened". He sees nothing in the direction of the gunshot but continues to run in that direction. Hearing Tobias, he reflects, Chad doesn't know what he might face so he readies his Luger* pistol. "Yes Tobias I've got my old Luger. I'll be ready. Be ready to help whoever might be hurt"

OOC,A Luger? Instead of a Browning? I'll just assume it's a WWII war trophy my dad brought back.

Tobias grimaces, "I hope it doesn't miss fire."

Raymond nodded and drew his Browning as he ran.

OOC,[b]Chad[/b]'s original player wanted a Luger but never said why. I'm guessing that's probably what it is.

Story stays in step with his companions and the strangers as they rush down the beach.

Brook Davies/Tobias Maddox,[b]Salem[/b] flailed his arms wildly, apparently trying to signal to them.

Tobias lifts his arms and waves them, trying not to stumble in the sand. He reckons there is no need to maintain any element of surprise, not with the crowd of them obviously racing down the beach, so he shouts, "Hold on Salem, we're coming!" He says to his companions, "Hurry! they look like they are struggling. Who can go in to help them? I'll try but I won't be much good on my own."

"I see him!" Brook calls out to the others, and points towards a man waving in the water. She looks to Tobias when he asks for help going in, nods a little, and splashes into the surf when they get close enough. "I'm no Olympic swimmer, though!"

Story shouts as he maintains his pace, "Brook, proceed with caution! The water is dangerous!"
