However, one of these articles says that that's an incorrect translation; it should be 'people of the fish.' That's possible, but I can't say for certain whether or not it's correct. The Tlachan are described in one encounter as being diseased and disfigured - kind of like the fellow you saw prowling around here, Miss. Perhaps some of their descendants are still alive today."
