You continue your descent. The two other soldiers are more cautious. You see a ligth downstairs and hear what seems a chant. Then they stop and you hear fireshots (but they are too far to hit you)

Gordon hugs the wall and pulls his weapon up to take aim downstairs - prepared to open fire on the first person he sees that looks like a threat. A little more slowly this time, he starts descending the stairway.

ooc,Seems kind of silly to stand right where they shot me and bandage the wound while they're still shooting. My First Aid skill isn't all that great anyway. Any chance I can just toss a grenade down the stairs as I retreat to safety and worry about first aid next round?

Gordon heard the explosion upstairs and was suddenly reminded that he had his own grenades. He wasn't sure where to throw it though, since he couldn't even see the buggars below. He pulled out the grenade, pulled the pin, and his grip on the grenade was made more slick by the blood from his wound. It dropped at his feet and started rolling downward. Eyes wide opened, Gordon turned tail and started to run upstairs, "You'll never catch me!" he exclaimed trying to goad them into giving chase.

Gordon slowed his progress now that the immediate danger was done and worked on his bandage to stop the bleeding from the bullet wound. He wasn't even sure if the bullet went all the way through or was stuck inside. It was too dark to see. Something he could check later when he had better opportunity. Since he wasn't real strong in the first-aid arena, he asked the other soldiers, "Are either of you any good with bullet wounds?" If they prove to be just as inept as Gordon, he will try to bandage himself first.

The soldier should have been a medic, not a soldier. You feel immediatly much better.
OOC: He has cured one of the wounds, and the other has improved. You just lost 3 HP.
