Tobias saw nothing of note out the window.

"No, very little at all, just drove in from up the road." Valerie replied. "I have however, heard some interesting legends of this town and am hoping to find out more if I may. We are in town on a bit of genealogy research, you see."

[DrPeterson]

"Genealogy?", Leonek asks not too quietly, "Your ancestors came from this place? That's ...interesting."

"We should definitely go for a walk around the village with you straight after lunch then." Tobias says meaningfully to Valerie and glaring at Leonek. "Talking of which, the service is very slow here; we should have gone to the teashop instead." He has a look at the other customers.

[Mr. Handy]

Story picked up the bottle of scotch and left the pub.

The other customers seemed to be minding their own business. A waitress came out from the kitchen with a tray of food and brought it to the other customers' tables, as they had arrived and placed their orders first. Then she went back into the kitchen. It probably wouldn't be too long before their lunch was ready.
