"Right," says Charles. "I'm going to start on the Chapel. See you here in a bit." He then heads off into the stacks with an air of wearied familiarity.

Charles spends about an hour searching through the library and can't find anything about the chapel at all.

Frustrated, Charles begins to search for anything on the Reverend Michael Thomas.

You find a very small article in a 2nd rate newspaper, the Boston Tattler, that had a reference to Reverend Thomas being a person of interest along with his congregation (but it did not list the church) in a series of neighborhood children disappearing in 1911, Dateline Jan 2012 Eric Allen

Harrison also looked for anything on the church and came up empty. "Charles man any idea what I should be looking for?"
.
OOC,since Yig has been out for a week, I'm going to take over Harrison as an NPC until Yigs return, so you can direct him what to do.

Charles thinks for a minute. "Why don't you see if you can find anything on a knife of that description?"
OOC,OK, just for my clarity, we will now each have done two searches? What time is it? And when does the library close?

He spends an hour and there is nothing on the knife that he can find in the Library.
OOC,each search takes about an hour, so it is 4 pm now and the library closes at 5. You can see it is starting to empty out and there are very few people left.

"Well," says Charles. "I'm going to try to make the most of the time we have left and read up on the disappearances in 1911. You may want to do the same, unless you have any better ideas."

Harrison scratches his head for a minute, "Well if the children were disappearing in late 1911, they may not have caught the guy till 1912, so lets expand the search a bit.'

He goes on to search but is unsuccessful.
OOC,passed his idea roll, failed his library use roll.
You have better luck, but again in the local tattler paper for Feb 1912, 8 men were arraigned on charges of child abduction including one Dr. Michael Thomas. But as you look further, nothing is listed in the Boston Globe, and only Dr. Thomas was named in the tattler's article.

You dig a bit deeper into March and April, and there you find where Dr. Thomas was found guilty of 5 counts of kidnapping and 2nd degree murder and sentenced to 40 years in the State prison. You look at the same date, April 1st, in the Boston Globe and there isn't a word about it.
.
You look a bit more into May and June and July and nothing about the other 7 men indicted with Dr.Thomas.

Its now 5:00 and you hear the librarian clearing his throat near you. "Excuse me sirs, I hate to interrupt but the library is closing now, I must ask you to leave."

OOC: I am going to assume you pack up your stuff and go back to the museum.
