Richard looks for a place to remove a board with the least amount of destruction to the floor and says "Anyone see a good place to remove a board or two without completely destroying the floors?"

Reacting to Richard's question, Jordie goes over to the living room and begins stomping on the floor with her boots. If there is a secret cavity in the bowel of the house, surely it'll produce a hollow sound?

Unless the sound of the basement give way...

Charles follows Jordie's example, trying to find anywhere that seems hollow.

Everything sounds solid.

The floor looks good, not boards look out of place or loose.

Richard says "The wall I found was right below here somewhere, our other choice is to go down the basement and see if we can find a false wall that comes into below this room here"

"If we're going into the basement, I sggest we get the others and all go down together," says Charles. "To do otherwise would be tempting fate..."

Richard reply's to Charles "I completely agree, and I think we need to go down with a think blanket again in case of any other possessed knives attacking again"

"I-I think I remember seeing a door underneath the stairs last time we were here," Jordie's voice rising steadily out of her shell.

Harrison helps carry one of the lights inside.

"To ... the ...cellar...then..."

Having relieved the struggling Sonny of the lamp, Scott puts it next to Harrison's and looks about him, "So where is this door to the basement then?"

Richard walks over to the basement door and proceeds to open it

It looks very much like it did before.

Richard looks down the stairs and tries to think of an idea for everyone to get down the stairs safely

Richard,it comes to you if you were to tie a rope onto the person going down, that if they slipped on the evasive stairs it would keep them from tumbling. And if you placed a matress at the bottom of the stairs, that would help also.

ooc,sorry I haven't been real responsive. I'm in training this week in Florida and so its difficult to find time to get on.

Richard turns to everyone and starts to pull rope out of his satchel "We can use this rope for people going down the stairs, we could also maybe throw a matress from one of the beds down to the bottom to use as a cushion i ncase someone does fall down the stairs"

"Two people should go down and then we can lower the lights on the ropes."

Harrison puts down the lamp and lights up another cigarette, discarding the empty package.

"I'll go get one of the mattresses from upstairs." Michael offers. "I'd like someone else to come and cover me in case our ghost decides to try something."

Richard starts to walk to Michael and says "I got your back, you are probably right none of us should go off by ourselves in this house"
