I'm sure they will do things different. You guys didn't do anything I thought you would, but I feel comfortable enough to play on the fly now. Really looking forward to it.

Hi, I'm back - sorry to go AWOL without announcing it - just got caught up with the rush of Christmas.

BTW, Priest is available to fill in for anyone who needs to be busy for a bit. Glad your back Sonny.

I hope your game will run great Ben! When I GM'd for
The Haunting, it was a big success that even my friends applauded me at the end of the night.
The Haunting is one of my favourite scenarios to run for newcomers of CoC
Hope to hear the good news soon!

The game did run great, but I think I've expanded The Haunting too much. It took 9 hours to do the whole run and we "sped" things up in the last hour just so we could finish up by 3 am.
Everyone had a great time, but I'm guessing I'm going to have to trim it "way" down before I can run it in the Con.
.
So those of you who actually know the Haunting, what part should I trim out:
Phil
The Rev
Tom
something else???

I think the problem is that you put too much work into this, Ben. The story is great, I've no idea where we're going and what the story really is about.
You've written up a short campaign. And it's great!
If you want to run this as a con game, you'll have to trim it down to the basics, I'm afraid.

I have to agree with Dr.P. I'm sure I must have done this scenario way back when I firtst started playing CoC, but the campaign you've done so far rings no bells for me. The work you've put into this is brilliant, but goodness knows how you can trim it for a convention.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. I think I have figured out what I want to do with it, and I think we can get it finished in about 7 hours. I hope.
Anyway, enough down time, lets get this game rolling again. I'd like to finish it up this year.

Nobody has posted in a while. Was there anything you guys wanted to do today. You pretty much did nothing for a whole day. Took off late, met at 1 and then planned to meet back at the house the next morning.
.
If you are ready I can move things onto the next day. I just wanted to give everyone a chance to do whatever first.

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. Haven't found the time to write as I'm studying for finals and working all the time. I only had plans to visit the Occult Shop and that's it. I only have time to keep up with new posts on my phone, as I'm on my feet for the most part. I'll try to write this evening.

We are now heading into what I think should be the final showdown. I'd love to wrap this up in the next couple weeks.
I know things bogged down for a while but I think if we all redidicate ourselves to this game, we can finish it off with a flurry of activity that should be a lot of fun.
So please post as often as possible even if its just asking "what can I do?" I'd love to see full roleplaying, but I know people are busy. I'll try and stay on top of it and post everyday as well. I won't be able to post this Saturday but besides that, you should see something from me every day.
Let's finish this off with a bang, one way or the other.
