Strassburg Station

While the stops are often quite brief affairs and guests are encouraged to stay on the train unless departing it is possible for someone to take a quick stroll around the platform though do remember that most stops only take 1 - 2 minutes at a maximum. One can also always gazed out of the window and who knows what one might see? Each stop shall have its own thread as shall any countryside changes for those wish to remark upon them. When in doubt, the latest thread has what is currently visible.

Strassburg Station

Post by Laraqua »

Image
(Ignore the glass framework which has been built very recently)
The train pulls into place at a lonely platform before a rather robust and beautiful building. A pair of men come out of the Baggage Car and head over to a stack of fresh fruit and vegetables, likely expecting to load on new ingredients and offload the various waste products. One of them immediately lights up a cigarette while the other hails a man with a clipboard who is fast approaching from the other side of the platform.
Is it bad that I listen to this about ten times a day?

Keeper,Thanks for the bonus to sneak! I needed that. http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4471593/ vs 40%
Nobody sees the man in grey as he emerges from the Baggage Car. He swiftly makes a circle around the Locomotive out of sight and starts walking towards where the Passenger Cars would be.

There is no one in view on the other side of the tracks.

Man in grey lets out a small swear as he realizes that he forgot to open the window to his cabin, and walks towards the exterior door to the Lounge Car.

Show,Could attempt to jimmy it open with a doubled Mechanical Repair roll? Alternatively, one of the other cabin's windows is open. Alternatively there is a door on either side of the sleeping car, facing each other, therefore you could still unlock the door and get in from this side.

Keeper,Mechanical Repair vs 40%: http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4479598/. Fail. Yeah no,not getting in that way.
After a few fruitless minutes of trying to jimmy open the locked the window, the man in grey lets out a swear before walking towards the entrance to Yenniffer Car.

Show,You may enter the corridor as per usual. There's no one up and moving in that corridor and the conductor is still sleeping (lest you fail a doubled Stealth check).
