OOC Forum

Post by carnage_lee »

Hi,

I've taken the liberty of adding a forum for Out of Character posts (this forum)'.

I've posted details for in-game dice rolling in another topic - hope it will be useful.

Good luck with the game!

Thanks. I was just about to start on character concept.

Thanks DrPeterson, that was the word i was looking for, and now thanks to PatGrillo i discovered that it is useless!
It seems i'm the fool of the year too, for i didn't do my research properly and i was using a inhaler that didn't exist!
Let's just pretend my character (yes i'll blame him  ) is going mad and is having some hallucinations.

You're welcome! When we failed our Dodge rolls, I thought we were all goners - especially since I know what this thing is. Fortunately, it appears to be a weak one. Otherwise my chances of overpowering it would have been minimal to nonexistent, and nobody else would have stood a chance.

Weak?
That would almost be funny ;)
If it wasn't chasing Parkhurst now...

And don't worry about it, Rulerman, I'm there some form of medicine that you could be groping for that was in use back in the day. Opium sounds like a nice anti-asthmatic. :D

Yes, or at least we were. Now we're trying to get away from it!

It is rather unusual to have something like this so early in a scenario, especially in a situation where we can't bring in new characters to replace dead investigators - and especially especially when we've lost a lot of the things we took with us on the boat. I'm wondering how we're supposed to survive...or if we're supposed to survive.

Robert had a plan, but wasn't able to share it before getting nibbled.
Good luck :)

Nibbled - eek! Not reading the other player's sections outside my own, so oblivious to what is going on outside the tunnel

It might be possible to lure it into the pit, but that would be risky.

I think the best thing to do right now is to hide and let the thing alone. we clearly don't have any chance against it and i'm with just 3 HP, which means that if the creature hits me with his finger i'm a big piece of dead meat.
Not that if i had my full Hit Points would make any difference, but i'm just saying that the monster is faster than us.
