Re: OoC Discussion
I wanted to offer two notes with regard to setting and canon: this operation takes place before the death of Reginald Fairfield, so Delta Green's status is arguably not quite as precarious as it will be in a few months' time. Also, in real life the siege at the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Texas finished up only a few weeks before the game starts. As Delta Green was involved with that, you are all expecting that the leadership is most likely concerned with the debriefing from that, as opposed to three of you. So you can expect a high amount of autonomy in exchange for a proportional lack of support.

Re: OoC Discussion
Both of you have ratings in Cthulhu Mythos, so you would recognize the book - unless you are playing coy....
Re: OoC Discussion
I thought one point in Cthulhu Mythos represented the bare minimum, and I hadn't realized that it necessarily meant we'd have heard of the Necronomicon, just that we knew of some weird things. I was thinking it was the equivalent of having a 5% Cthulhu Mythos rating in the Call of Cthulhu rules.

Re: OoC Discussion
I don't want to cut anything short, but I would prefer if we get into the action, if only to keep you guys interested. I tend to ramble on otherwise, so if it's easier to ask out of character, don't be shy.

Re: OoC Discussion
Folks, I am at the beach this week. If we can think of a research-oriented plan of action to decide your next step that would be great.
Re: OoC Discussion
Maybe we can use a contact (created with Network) at the UN mission to help us find Bardysh's current whereabouts.

Re: OoC Discussion
The UN administration in the city will have records on Bardysh's movements, especially if he has tried to cross a border or pass through a checkpoint.
Re: OoC Discussion
I might create a contact to represent my wayward twin brother Branko, although he's probably somewhere in Croatia at the moment. Or I could see if I could contact my Solace Aura Meir to see if Mossad knows anything. Otherwise, I'm not sure. I could impersonate a UN official of low but serviceable rank in order to get the records they have.

Re: OoC Discussion
A spend of Bureaucracy would be all that is needed to see the UN materials. But feel free to make contacts.
Re: OoC Discussion
That sounds like a good idea. I've got a point of Bureaucracy, but Austin has two, so maybe he should spend one. However, his player hasn't been around for weeks.

Re: OoC Discussion
We can continue with 2 - I admit to being extra lazy after my vacation, so I am no one to complain.
Re: OoC Discussion
I'll be away on vacation through the 29th, and again from the afternoon of July 3rd through the 7th, so I probably won't be able to post during those times.
Can Austin still spend Bureaucracy, or are we going to play as if he were never there? If so, I'll spend it.

Re: OoC Discussion
Let's run him as an NPC subject to your approval.
Re: OoC Discussion
Sounds fine to me.
