Professor Nancy Remington drove back into town and, following Anthony's directions, eventually reached his home. "Well, we're here," she said, parking out in front. "I've got a busy day tomorrow in the lab setting things up for the experiment, but feel free to drop in if you have the time and I'll let you know if there have been any new developments. Good night, Professor Scott."

"Thank you, Nancy. Have a good evening." Closing the door Anthony walks towards his front door.

Their home is a humble single story abode with a red brick facade. Anthony walks up the path and steps onto the porch. He quietly opens the door and steps into the entryway.

ooc,I am gonna be a little slow posting right now. I get married saturday and then we move so there might be a little lag in the posts.

Katrina was sitting in an armchair in the living room waiting for Anthony when he walked in, wearing a nightgown and reading a book. She put down her book, stood up, and kissed him in greeting. "You were out very late tonight," she said, her voice still tinged with a hint of a charming German accent even after years in America. "I was starting to get worried. It seems I'm not the only one. I got a frantic call from your aunt earlier tonight. Her daughter, your cousin Kathy, has her at her wit's end! She said the girl was talking about death or dying and hung up on her, and when she tried to call back, she kept getting busy signals! She's so afraid Kathy will do something drastic, but she doesn't know what to do. The girl won't listen to her any more. She was wondering if you might be able to get through to your cousin."

OOC,Congratulations! Thanks for letting me know, and it's not a problem at all when you're in a thread by yourself. You do have an opportunity to interact with another thread, but it's okay if that moves slowly too. The players in that thread have been waiting a while, and even slow progress will be an improvement on none at all.

"oh." says Anthony as he rubs his tired eyes, "I meant to call her but I got caught up trying to help one of my students. He's in some serious trouble and I got caught up trying to help. I'm sorry it's so late. I really did mean to call. How was our boy today?"

"Josh has been well-behaved and is doing fine," said Katrina. "He's sleeping now. It's good that you were helping someone. Are you going back out to see Kathy? I tried calling her myself a couple of times, but I got a busy signal too."

"let me give if a try," Anthony says as he walks to the phone. Picking it up he asks, "What was the number again?"

Katrina gave Anthony the number and he tried it, but the line was still busy.

"Hmm, I didn't get her. I'll try again in the morning. It's been a long day and I need a few hours rest," Anthony yawns and stretches.

Katrina and Anthony went to bed, and the night passed peacefully. Anthony woke up at around 7:30 on Thursday morning. His schedule was free today, as the classes he taught were on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
