Character Sheets - Re-Done
Could people post up their character sheets in this squeaky new thread? Just that the last one is clogged with characters who were KIA or whose players are currently MIA and it makes it more of a pain to scroll through. I'd cross-post them but then you couldn't edit your own sheets.

Well, I could still edit it, but that wouldn't help everyone else. You can also change the author of a post. I've fixed up my sheet to correct the things that I noticed weren't up to date.

At times, Lily looks more like a mannequin than an actual woman. She dresses in dark, Victorianesque clothing and has a strange, almost stiff way of moving. Her complexion is pale and waxy, contrasting sharply with her long, dark hair. She seldom blinks, and when she does, it's a sort of snapping motion, like a doll being laid down to sleep.
Maybe it's fitting that a girl who seems so unalive is fascinated by death. Lily is a painter, and the recurring themes in her works are ghosts, bones, and inescapable mortality. She approaches the subject like a morbid child, desperately trying to make sense of what it is and why it happens.
She is curious to a fault, and has developed a talent for snooping and getting around all sorts of barriers. Since the barriers often come from authority figures, she has a habit of blatantly disrespecting the people who have power over her - unless they have too much. Like her brother.
Background
Since Lily dropped out of high school at sixteen, her older brother Charles has held her gilded chains. Surprisingly, there was little legal kerfuffle around her parents kicking her out of the house, or Charles becoming her legal guardian.
As far as Lily knows, her brother is motivated by the notion that she cannot take care of herself. She is irresponsible, immature, and needs to be protected from the outside world. For her own safety, she is not allowed to leave the house, make phone calls, or have any money of her own. He has graciously given her a computer with filtered, tracked internet.
Through all of this, Lily has few complaints. Charles is wealthy (though he never tells her about his work) and gives her a very decadent life. He lets her paint all she wants, serves her wonderful food, and buys her all the clothes she could want. And all for the price of loneliness and obedience.
Recently, she's found ways around her brother's surveillance software. She's started talking to people, researching locations around the world, and delving into strange phenomena. This place called Silent Hill intrigues her, and for her 21st birthday, she has begged and pleaded to go there.
To her surprise, Charles has agreed, as long as he keeps her in sight at all times. Lily does not intend to obey this time.

APPEARANCE AND PERSONALITY
Charlie stands 5' 11" but carries himself like a larger man. He usually wears his dark hair slicked back and possesses some of the latest fashions available in men's clothing but the sleeve and neck tattoos reaching beyond the confines of his clothing seem to convey a more ominous and violent personae, a perception he embraces. Charlie is a bully with a temper and an individual who feels that everyone is below him. However, this affront is a facade hiding a secret only known to Charlie himself. Charlie does not appear to be a strong man in his tailored suits but he works out regularly and holds a gold membership at the Bellevue LA Fitness Gym, participating in both the boxing and wrestling programs offered by the club.
BACKGROUND
As an adolescent, Charlie had a few minor run-ins with the law but managed to avoid any serious trouble and completed high school, an accomplishment his parents rewarded with an inheritance. Prior to this payment, Charlie was never lacking in finances despite not seemingly holding a steady job. In recent years, Charlie has been known to associate with known criminals and other shady characters. This has resulted again in more encounters with the Bellevue police but a good lawyer and ongoing self-education of the justice system has allowed Charlie to flirt the law.
Since Lily dropped out of high school at sixteen, Charlie has been her guardian. Charlie had just received the inheritance a few years prior and used it to finance a home, where he and his little sister now preside. Charlie has taken it upon himself to take care of her, an arrangement that their parents did not have a problem with, and protect her from the evils of the world. Over the years, his care began to border on over-protective paranoia. He loves his sister but some would view his conduct towards her as unusual.
Charlie's growing interest in computer software and his suspect business arrangements informed his desire to install surveillance equipement in his home. Now, that software is being used to keep an eye on Lily. However, his interest in software now feeds a new desire: to become a hip-hop artist, even though it is more likely he will end up on the production side of it. Nonetheless, this interest has added to his growing circle of suspect acquaintances and the lifestyle that comes with it. He had been working on this goal when his sister decided on this coming of age journey....

His short and neat auburn hair is usualy hidden under a hat due to the patch of silvery grey spreading from his fringe. His soft hazel eyes, pale complection and weak clean shaven chin show him to be a sensitive man with a hint of distracted meloncholy.
Dispite (or perhaps because of) his weak physicalities he has a fine mind, sharp eye and a certain dexterity of hands.
Not one to use wit or sharpness of tongue he is always ready with a kind smile and reasuring words for those under his care, though he has a habit of being quite blunt when things are out of his hands.
Background: Growing up had been difficult for Alex. His father left when he was barely a year old, not so much as a goodbye if he's to believe his mother. This lose never really hurt Alex, after all he'd never met the man (didn't even know his name) and it seemed silly to be angry at something that you've never seen. He just didn't like the lack of reason, thats all. A working mother and no siblings, some kids would go out and get into all sorts of trouble. Alex wouldn't, he couldn't in truth. He'd been born a scrawny child and while he was in most respects heathy the muscle and brawn that other kids might show in later years never did develop. It was Declan and Elizibeth that saved him from worse bullyings at school. Those three were inseperable, a perfect team. Declan was strong and witty, Elizibeth was beautifull and kind, and Alex was smart and patient.
They urged each other on in life. Declan went on to be a quarterback for the Philidelphia Eagles, Lizzy opened her own hair sallon and Alex got his doctorate in medicine. When Alex started dating Liz after his graduation life was good, he felt sure and secure like nothing could take this away from him.
A mistake on his part.
During the start of WW2 he and Liz started drifting apart, as they started talking less Alex couldn't help the feeling that she was hidding something. When he found out........her and Declan......he wasn't mad. He didn't so much as raise his voice. He gave them his blessing as it were.
They got engaged the same year. The same year that Declan and Alex were flown of to France to help with the war effort. The same year Alex stood above Declan in that dingey field hospital, shrapnel and burn wounds on his leg and torso.
Alex can't remember much of what happend next. He told the counsilor back home that there had been a piece of shrapnel in his leg that had cut the Femeral artery, the blood loss was extensive and hard to control. His heart went into shock.....and then was still.
"Alcohol abuse isn't going to help Alex." said the counsilor, "You need to let go of this misplaced guilt. You've progressed a lot since I first saw you but you're still blaming yourself."
There was months of counciling after he'd come back to the US, the return of his suspended medical licence depended on going to these meetings. He couldn't blame them. He'd been a mess when he got back, when he wasn't catatonic he was staring at the bottom of a whisky bottle.
After getting him off the drink his therapist helped him become more stable and start to move back into society. Slowly he began to seem more like himself. But not completely.
Then that letter came, stuffed into his letter box one day. When he saw it his heart almost stopped. It was Declan's hand writing alright...but how could it be?
The dead can't come back right?
He needed answers, one's he almost didn't want to know.
