OOC Chit-Chat

A resort town in cheery America is a major holiday destination that sits upon the shores of the beautiful Lake Toluca. It's a fun and fantastic location with plenty to see and do whether as one of our many wonderful tourists or as brand new residents. Catch a film or theatrical production at Artaud Theatre then retire to Annie's Bar for drinks with friends. Check out the Lakeside Amusement Park and see the historical Lighthouse that is still in operation certain days of the year. Spend a romantic evening on the Observation Deck or an evening at Pete's Bowl-o-Rama. Or take a stroll through Rosewater Park.
There's lots to see and do and that's not even mentioning White Claudia, The Order, skinned dogs, alien geometries that occasionally warp the town, nor the psychologically-induced misery and torments that spring fully formed into existence while walking the merry streets.
Welcome!

Congratulations, Seon!

I'll be leaving for a convention on Thursday afternoon and won't be back until Sunday night, though I might not be able to catch up and post until the following night.

Congrats Seon, that's awsome news. :)

Btw Laraqua and Kadael, sorry for not posting in a while and holding you up. Not been feeling too great recently and haven't had the energy to post.

That's okay, William. I think Kadael hasn't had much time to post either.

As for me, I have my wedding upcoming so I'm sorry about the brief and sporadic posts. All should be good post mid-April.

He's referring to Charles but then again almost all the main characters are crazed men looking for his sister.

Oy, if anyone here would join the All Flesh Must be Eaten thing at the running a game section, I'd consider it a favor. I am yearning to play this but we need two more people.

Hey I found this song recently and it made me think of Cole, or at least how he likes to think of himself. On an unrelated note Laraqua, am I still allowed to play a second character? I really want to give that chaotic evil serial killer a try. I'm really curious as to how silent hill would handle a sociopath.

Since Silent Hill preys on guilt and even then ignores most visitors I imagine it wouldn't touch a sociopath unless that sociopath used occult means to gain entry (some of the cultists could arguably be considered sociopathic). A serial killer wouldn't normally 'hear' anything on this side.

Of course, a serial killer could be hooked into it if he were killed or imprisoned here and disappeared, in which case you might be wielded as a weapon by the town. In order to be seen again rather than simply consumed, you'd need to be linked to another PC. If you can get someone to agree to play your character's target, and both of you agree that this is PvP and either of you could die, then sure, okay.

I'll be away on vacation through the 29th, and again from the afternoon of July 3rd through the 7th, so I probably won't be able to post during those times.

Hey Mr. Handy, welcome to Act III.

By the way, I won't be establishing any new characters in Silent Hill for a time. Once your two games have wrapped up I'll be giving it a break for awhile before kicking off either this or another videogame-based horror game. I'm thinking something along the lines of Forbidden Siren or Project Zero (aka Fatal Frame) or even Alan Wake. Or more Silent Hill. Not sure yet.

I'll be away at conventions October 31-November 3 and November 8-10, so I probably won't be able to post then. I'm not sure if I'll even be able to post between them, as I work during the week and will have little time to catch up, though I am off November 11.

I miss you guys. Sorry to have disappeared without a word (again...) Mental health problems and gaming don't cooperate well.

Just figured I'd stop by and read all the old threads again.
I'm a smooth criminal and a neurotic lawyer with a crush on a pretty-boy author, and I'm being controlled by my creepy older brother (twice!) while I worry about not having a can opener.

That's all good. Your thread hasn't gone very far anyway as the other fellow has also found it difficult to keep posting rates high
