OOC - GENERAL Campaign Discussion

To quote from James Starkweather, our expedition commander: "We will travel back to the campsight and last resting place of our colleagues from Miskatonic University, led by professor Charles Lake, some two years ago. We intend to confirm their amazing discoveries and to map and climb the Miskatonic Mountain range, reported to be the highest peaks in the world. Once we've reached those peaks, we will continue further. We will continue beyond the mountains. Beyond those mountains where we intend to perform an aerial survey of the lands on the far side of that range, into uncharted territory that has never before seen by the human eye. To uncover the secrets…"

This is excellent news, Ewoklord!

As I have found to be normal during holiday times, my posting will be pretty much limited to posting on the weekends. My weekdays will be consumed with work, and then with attending to shopping, decorating, sending cards, making phone calls, and other various holiday prep.

This week I'll be traveling on business from Monday through Friday, so I won't get to even check postings. *sigh*

This note is let everyone know that I'll be traveling out of state to visit relatives for a couple of days, returning home late on the 29th, and that I expect to be back posting on December 30th. I hope that you've had some excellent holidays and I hope that everyone is ready to reach the ice in 2013!

I've been down ill this past week and am now starting to recover. I'll now be traveling on business for a few days (not the best thing to do when coming off an illness...) and expect to be back writing this coming weekend.

I hope you feel completely better soon.

I should have a lot more time to post starting this weekend, as I'm off next week, though on Thursday afternoon I'll be leaving for a convention and won't be back until Sunday night.

Hello all. As you can see, I've found some time this weekend to get back into creative writing mode. Sorry that I've been preoccupied for a couple of weeks; work and personal chores have taken priority.

And Ewoklord, I hope that you're OK with me RP'ing your character to answer a couple of Katie Wright's questions. I very familiar with the ship layout and with other PC's and NPC's, so I figured that it'd be easier for me to respond than require you to search through a lot of previous threads and details.

Real life work continues to drag me from my fun. Long days and weekend work. Thanks, guys, for your patience.

Sorry I've been far too sporadic with my posts. My schedule got a lot busier than I expected the last couple months and I should've informed you guys. And, I know this is late, but if you feel the need to RP my character at any point, Job, feel free to do so.

It's good to know that you're still around Ewoklord. My schedule has also been hectic of late, including some family illness, however I have no intention of letting this adventure go. I'm hoping that everyone remains patient and keeps watching this space. The best is yet to come.

Excellent, Mr. Handy! Thank you for staying with us.

I'm on vacation in a couple of weeks, so I'll be able to check in a bit more often, maybe finish up our trip to Australia, and begin the last leg of the trip to the ice.

I'm actually also still here, even though I have been unacceptably absent due to a master thesis that doesn't write itself and other hectic aspects of life.

I'll be away on vacation through the 29th, and again from the afternoon of July 3rd through the 7th, so I probably won't be able to post during those times.
