On the road-
Ryuu didn't find much in the dead boy's pockets: some change, a pack of chewing gum, and a condom still in its wrapper. He had no keys on him.

"Are you sure we should just be standing around here?" asked Jack, glancing around furtively, "Those shots were pretty loud. What if more of them come?"

"Yeah, your probably right. I'm pretty sure there was nobody in the house, come in with me and we'll look together. That way if more zombies show up we could hide in here, then when we find the keys we can just make a run for the car." Ryuu says, with Jack's corporation he climbs through the window, pistol out.

On the road-
"All right," said Jack, climbing through the window after Ryuu.

In the living room-
Ryuu and Jack stood in the living room. Jack glanced at the closed door on the right. "Maybe that's a closet," he said. "The only other way to go is through that archway to the dining room."

"Well I doubt keys would be kept in the closet, lets go look in the kitchen drawers." Ryuu says, heading through the doorway with his pistol out.

In the dining room-
Jack followed Ryuu into the dining room, which looked normal to them. A hallway led off to the left, where there were two doors on either side of the hall. There was another door directly ahead, opposite the archway from the living room.

26, fail.
Ryuu begins looking around for a set of keys, looking everywhere someone would obviously place them. He keeps an eye out for anything that might be a threat though.

In the dining room-
Ryuu noticed a small bowl on a sideboard, and in them was a key fob that looked like it could be for the car out front.

"Jack, we got what he came here for,-" Ryuu says, dangling the keys in his hand. "-let's get moving before any zombies show up." He says, heading for the window where he came in.

In the living room-
Jack hurried to follow Ryuu back to the window. Ryuu got there first and scrambled through the opening.

Jack heard something behind him and turned back to look. "No!" he cried. "Not another one!"

"JACK! Don't worry about fighting it just get through the window, we're out of here!" Ryuu says, he then waits a couple seconds nervously and if Jack doesn't come out, climbs back in with his sword.

On the road-
"You don't gotta tell me a second time," said Jack, scrambling through the window. "Get the car started, fast!"

Ryuu is quick to comply, he runs up to the car door, silently praying to every and any spirit present to let this be the right key. -If it unlocks he looks around quickly to make sure there's no zombies inside, and then climbs in and starts the car.

On the road-
The key fob unlocked the car doors, and the LeSabre was vacant. Ryuu jumped into the driver's seat while Jack got into the shotgun seat. As Ryuu was about to start the car, a red-eyed woman with pale skin appeared in the window through which they had climbed out and fell through it.

Ryuu takes a deep breath upon seeing the woman and then starts the car, keeping calm he drives at a very normal, cautious speed as he pulls out. Knowing what a disaster crashing this car would be. As soon as their a safe distance away he checks to make sure the car has no apparent problems and checks the fuel gauge.

On the road-
Ryuu started up the engine, which purred into life as the zombie staggered to its feet and lurched over towards the car. He pulled out right as it reached the car, easily outdistancing it and returning to the main road running north and south through Holdrege. The fuel tank was about three quarters full, which was about enough gas to get 300 miles on the highway.

"I don't suppose you have anything we could siphon gas with, do you?" Ryuu asks pessimistically.
If not as soon as Ryuu see's a house with a hose he(and no zombies near it) he quickly sprints out of the car and grabs it before returning to the car and driving to the highway.

On the road-
Ryuu was able to get his bearings. The road south led back out of town the way he had come. The way north led further into Holdrege. Chicago was northeast of here, so that was going in the right direction, but there were likely to be more zombies as he moved towards the middle of town. He also was able to make a long-term plan for driving to Chicago, though he would indeed need to refuel along the way.

There were no hoses visible in this area. Jack shrugged in response.

"Okay, we don't have enough gas to get to Chicago but we can get to Omaha, I'm thinking we'll refuel there and that should get us enough to get to my house. You said Omaha was relatively safe right now right?" Ryuu inquires as he begins driving.
