On the front porch-
Almost right away, the front door opened to reveal four people very familiar to Caitlin: her uncle Jake, her aunt Mary, her cousin Clyde, and his beautiful wife Veronica. The men carried rifles and the women carried shotguns, but all of their weapons were pointed down.

"Caitlin!" Jake cried, overjoyed. "Come in, quickly! Did you come here by yourself? Where are your parents?"

Caitlin embraced Jake quickly, relieved to catch a break. "Two others. It's okay, guys." Then her thoughts turned to her parents. "Mom was... and Dad..." She trailed off, just shaking her head, fighting the tears back again. Plenty of time for sorrows once the doors were shut and everyone safe inside.

Hearing the friendly banter, Lara resists to put the gun away. She keeps it in her right hand, in line with her side and holds up her left hand in a ´hold it´ stance. She shouts to the front side. "We back here. Don´t know if you were druzʹya!" She knocks at the back door and steps back, while looking backwards. "Anyone out there, Sven?"

Behind the house-
"I don't see anyone," said Sven, glancing back over his shoulder.
