Look, I'll be honest with you, I wouldn't have wasted the time, effort and departmental budget on these things. But give me three... perhaps four days, with these things and I'll have some definitive proof for you. I'll also be able to do some more considered research myself. As to risks yes there are some, but I'm aware of the risks now and frankly its not necessary for me to study the entirety of those clay shards to come to some conclusions about them.

OOC:   Unless, anyone has any strenuous objections. I don't intend to R-P the minutiae of academic research. Westerlund is happy enough to have Liz accompany him although he's clearly dubious as to how much assistance a "TV researcher" can be. Is there anything specific people want to do in the next four days or will you just hang out in the hotel rooms? Perhaps a good time for experience checks?
