"Thank you, Jacob," says Liz. "Protolanguage. It went into my head. I remember everything I did. I couldn't control myself. I had to write it all down and understand it. The writing was just gibberish, but it could help to understand the language. All the same, I'd rather not think about it. I'm doing better now. I still feel an urge to try to learn about the language, but I can suppress it."
