Don't worry, its all good.

I'd hate to think you're worrying about how to say something to make it sound more authenticly British than worrying about wether the tentacled monstrosity is going to eat you. :D

Tentacles? I didn't know they would be serving tentacles on the plane! What a rare treat. :)

I wrote a simple list of Equipment - something an ordianry man should bring to the plane.

I work on the principal of if you really want it and you can justify it, you can have it. Those of you who live in the UK will probably have other stuff at home as well.

Also, since my flight just landed, shouldn't I be in Arrivals rather than Departures?

It's funny, but I was in Heathrow in early May 2008 during a trip to London.
All worked out don't worry :)

Kit wise - no camera for the holiday or does she rely on the smart phone?
There's a digital camera on my list - it's the last item. I had put it there last night. The smartphone can function as a camera, but the digital camera is much better at it.

Like HPL himself, I've always been an Anglophile. I've watched a lot of British TV and movies and read a lot of British fiction, and I've picked up on British spelling and phrases (hence my use of the word "holiday" instead of "vacation"). I welcome the opportunity to unleash my inner Brit, so I'll be using them in my character's speech and thoughts. I don't mind if everyone else speaks American, though. ;)

Having lived not far from Golders Green in London during my student days, I figure your Israeli accent English will probably be about right :)

Like I said, have fun, please don't worry about how you sound. Clearly somethings don't work in the UK the same way they work in the US or Israel and I may have to pick you up on things if they effect the story, but only then. Please don't worry about how you sound - Just enjoy the game.

Remember, the rule is MGF - Maximum Game Fun.

Oh and guys, I'm not ignoring your posts. Unfortunately, the setup here is rather convoluted and things as you will see have to go sequentually. Much easier if we could all be around a table eh :)

So guess I was digging a bit to see if everyone else is in the deep s*&^ as much as me. ;)

Well, I don't really know what's going on, so you're one up on me there. Of course, I'm not the one carrying around weapons in an airport.

Gents, I'm wondering wether you're finding the current thread a tad confusing? Would it be better for me to split this thread up until your actually acting together?
