The flash and report from Andy's AK is incredibly loud and incredibly bright momentarily obscuring Andy's vision when his vision clears there is no sign of his target. Two shots ring out from the direction of the car parked on the road but they both go wide.

Alice, Greg and Jacob can all see the flash of gunfire, but it pales in comparison to the sound echoing off the valley walls.

The flash was unexpected in the darkness causing Greg to shut his eyes for a bit too long to notice anything.

As Liz advances, taking advantage of cover where she can find it, she is able to get a decent look at her surroundings and their destination.

OOC:   Andy will attempt to move up to the 4x4'x, keeping low and using them for cover.

As Andy moves up towards the first of the two 4x4's he can hear some groaning on the far side of the second vehicle. Another shot rings out smashing a side window(s)

LIz,See's car headlights coming from the direction of the monastery.

"Car!" hisses Liz, pointing in the direction of the monastery.

Greg gets down low as the car comes by.

Liz tries to position herself somewhere the car can't run her over, using any available cover.

Jacob looks around after hearing the gunshop and the echo. He crouch when Liz says so, breathing heavily

OOC:   Remember you are half way up the mountain track. The car lights are on the same road as the one you have parked the 4x4's. At least a couple of hundred meters or more below you.

"Should we shout and warn the others?" asks Liz as she hurries onwards. "The problem is, that would give away our own position. We have the Bluetooth devices, maybe we can use those."

OOC,Are we within range to communicate using the Bluetooth devices?

OOC:   They are dependant on your phones, so as long as,you have signal (you do but it's poor) then you're golden.

"Chaps, a car's coming your way from the direction of the monastery," warns Liz through her Bluetooth. "I see its lights. We're on our way down, a few hundred metres from you."

OOC:   I guess Andy will try to move up, keeping to the side of the 4x4 and the edge of the road. Trying to suppress the other person's fire at the very least, getting a shot at them if possible. If he comes across the guy he shot then he'll take their weapon if they have one (plus the knife).

Andy moves between the two 4x4's and almost stumbles across the cursing Verbti as he struggles to find his weapon while trying to deal with his wound. Two more shots ring out one whining as it hits something metallic the showering Andy with glass as it passes through one or more car windows.

Further up the hill. Liz, Greg and Jacob can now see the flashes of gunfire, they still can't make out any details in the darkness.

Liz continues to hustle, hoping they can get there in time.

Andy Wade

Things were getting tense and downright dangerous, the shooter needed to be stopped and quickly before he did some real damage to one of their vehicles. Andy is forced to try and render the wounded man unconscious, he doesn't want an enemy behind him... with a sick feeling in his stomach he brings the stock of his assault rifle down onto the skull of the wounded man, rendering him unconscious.

OOC:   Do you want me to roll for any of that? Andy will take a few moments to check for weapons and remove them. He'll move up, keeping low and keeping the 4x4's as cover, trying to get into a position where he can get a shot at the other gunman - in all probability firing from the prone position.

From behind him Andy hears the bap bap of Alex's pistol. Followed by the yell of I start car.

OOC:   You don't need to roll to hit, but you do need to roll damage as per a club. Can I also have a spot hidden and a listen. Either of which will alert Andy to the car - hears car, see headlights or takes a moment to listen to Liz yelling over the phone. Liz, Greg, Jacob. At the point the car appears you will be able to engage it at long range (i think need to check)

OOC,I'll also need to be fairly close before I can fire my shotgun. Maximum effective range is 35 yards according to the Firearms thread. It only does 1d8 damage beyond fifteen yards, but that may still be useful when shooting at tires.
