Carolyn feels as though a sudden weight has been lifted from her shoulders. Squaring them, she reloads her Thompson and prepares to unleash hell.
Darnell sees the woman physically grow in stature and hope fills his heart.
Again he swings the axe--a true haymaker--but the blade whisks over Yig's head; the axe thumps into the ground, only a fraction of an inch from his T-bar shoe.

Round 2 Investigators Attack Carolyn empties another drum of .45 bullets into Yig, and this time most of them connect! The monstrosity reels from the onslaught and starts to weaken, but it is still far from defeated.

Round 2 Ancient One Attacks Yig tries to bite Carolyn with his venomous fangs, but she barely rolls away at the last possible second.

I'll restore that lost Sanity point of yours during the refresh phase. It may pay to wait on Heal, as it can restore multiple Stamina points with multiple successes.
