Death Toll

This is a running list of all the characters who have died in Chapter 6 and a short statement for each about how they met their doom. There may be spoilers for threads in which you do not have characters, so read with caution. In situations where I don't want players to realize that certain characters are dead yet, I will delay adding them to the Death Toll thread until such time as I feel it can be revealed. I'll update this thread as the death toll escalates, so check back if you see a character snuff it.
Current through August 17, 2010:
Captain Jacqueline Jones- On her way to rescue a group of civilians outside Warren Air Force Base, she attempted to land outside the gates only to crash badly due to her extremely bad luck. She did not survive.
Emily Lubachek- Went after the Marley posse and the teenagers who murdered her son for revenge and forced her way into a fortified warehouse. Damon Marley personally gunned her down.
Tiny- Followed Emily into death when he attacked a Jamaican member of the Marley posse, giving him a ferocious bite. The Jamaican took him out at point blank range with a shotgun. It wasn't pretty.
Miguel Garcia- Perished in a gunbattle during an ill-advised attack on the Jamaicans' warehouse. He took one of them with him.
LaTanya Washington- Also died in the shootout. She wounded Damon Marley and helped Emilio and Kate to escape before getting cut to ribbons by the gang leader's SMG.
Roy McCrumb- Started out a hero by defending the school from the zombies at great personal risk, but then went rogue. He joined Darnell's revenge-seeking gang, murdering Chuck Lubachek, nearly killing Kyle Rogers, and abducting Erica Spears. He got his comeuppance and paid with his life when an unlikely hero stood up to save her from him.
Steve Bell- Died protecting his daughter Caitlin, Lara Voronova, and a stranger from some zombies that he had run into. Thanks to his noble sacrifice, they will live at least a little longer.
Doug Marley- The son of Damon Marley had just successfully captured Emilio and Kate, but was taken by surprise and gunned down by Keith Stewart.
Keith Stewart- Sacrificed his life to take down Doug Marley after he and Lou returned with Emilio and Kate in their custody. By attacking Doug out in the open, he left himself vulnerable to his vengeful sister, Lisa. She grabbed his shotgun and blew Keith away.
John Lee- Fled from Cheyenne to Omaha with a dark secret. Unfortunately, a couple of killers caught up with him to make sure that he wouldn't talk.
Raquel Orozco- Bitten by a zombie, she lived long enough to see her friends get to safety. She stayed behind and took her own life before the end.
Dan Aldrich- Also bitten by a zombie, he managed to protect the women under his care and get them to a safe haven. He confessed his feelings to Julie before they parted. He remained outside the base and ate a bullet.
