Julie saw the zombie now and she kept her sanity. She stepped out of the truck, pulled her bow out, notched an arrow and aimed at the zombie's head. However the wind must have picked up and she missed her shot wide.

In front of the farmhouse-
Katarina's bullet went right through the zombie's forehead, and it collapsed on top of Raquel - yet it still squirmed. Dan and Julie got out of the truck and readied their weapons, but they did not have time to fire yet. Raquel fired accurately, crippling the ghoul's arm. It still did not stop moving.

OOC,As I said before, there was not enough time last round for someone who started in the cab to get out of the truck and attack. [b]Julie[/b], you got out of the truck last round, and now you may attack. Your Bow skil is actually 50%, and the shot is at point blank range, so that roll would hit. [b]Sally[/b], if you wanted to get out of the truck too last round you can have done so. I needed to go ahead and update even though you hadn't replied since I informed you that you did not go insane after all (there would have been an Idea roll anyway even if you had lost 9 Sanity). At this point everyone may fire one shot at point blank range. The zombie is almost destroyed, and if it takes another 2 or more damage to any location, that will finish it off. [b]Julie[/b], if you fire this round, we'll count the roll you already made as your attack, which hits since it's point blank. In that case, you just need to roll 1d6 damage. If anyone misses, you'll need to roll Luck to avoid hitting [b]Raquel[/b]. If you don't shoot this round, you may take some other action.

Handy,Ok. Take that as my shot. I will roll damage in the morning when I get up

Zoe screams.

Katarina is nervous about shooting Lara but will attempt to press her gun against the zombie's side and pull the trigger if able (can point blank get any point blanker or will she just not be able to touch gun to it? If the latter, she won't take her shot, she's not confident enough).

OOC,Not while the zombie's still moving and flailing around (not to mention still bitey). You'd have to take the shot at double your skill if you were going to. If you want to take some action other than shooting, you're free to do so.

Dan runs up and grabs the zombie by the leg and jerks him off the truck so he can put a bullet in its head.

"Dan, no!" Sally screamed. "It is still dangerous"

Handy,I did not get out last round as I was hoping to open the window. No need to complicate things for you. I will fire next round.

Outside the farmhouse-
Before Dan closed the distance, Julie loosed her arrow and it struck the zombie, causing it to collapse and stop moving.

"Get it off me!" shrieked Raquel pushing at the now inert corpse. With Dan's help, she was able to shove it out of the back of the pickup truck and onto the ground. She clutched her arm and moaned. "Ohh, it hurts!"

OOC,Well, there's nothing left to shoot this round.

Katarina will back away and look around for any other zombies in case another comes while the better shooters are all distracted. If there's anything else out there, she probably sees it.

Zoe wonders if Racquel will become a zombie after it bit her.


Zoe rushes to the other truck.

Sally raced over to Racquel and inspected her wound. "Do we have any medical supplies? I can help trat Racquel, but I will need some bandages."

OOC,[b]Sally[/b], you do have some medical supplies from the compound. Go ahead and roll First Aid.

"Did it bite you?" asked Katarina, hugging herself and looking for any other dead things.

Dan gestures at Katarina, let's get her into the van. You can treat her wound there. We need to get to Lara.

"Good call, Dan" Sally said. He helped Racquel to the van and settled into the back with her.

OOC,That's okay, I rolled for you. The van is not here. The skinheads took that. It's the other pickup truck that's here.

Outside the farmhouse-
"Si, Katarina, it bit me," said Raquel as Sally tried to help her, "but it's just a small bite. Sally will fix it."

Zoe reached the driver's side door of the white pickup truck and tried the handle, but the door was locked. Dan, Julie, and Katarina stood around outside the trucks. So far Katarina did not see anything. Then the ground began to tremble again...

OOC,Everyone roll Spot Hidden at 1/5 skill and Listen at full skill. [b]Zoe[/b], you have a couple of options if you want to try to get into the cab of the white truck. You may roll Locksmith to try to pick the lock, or you may attempt to break the window. If you want to try to smash it with your cuffed hands, make a Fist/Punch roll. If you want to try to break it with your shotgun or rifle, make a Large Club roll. A failed roll does not mean you miss, merely that you don't hit hard enough to break the window. [b]Sally[/b], if you want to try to treat [b]Raquel[/b], roll First Aid.
