Michael shakes Carl Sanford's hand, which is cold to the touch. "Well, I'll see you around," he says as he heads for the exit.

"Just one moment." Earl Sawyer stoops forward, picking up an elliptical pebble; he then skips it down the track. "A triple bounce!" he hollers in triumph.
Wilson Richards notes the birthmark on the back of Earl's neck - a queer scabrous blemish.

Jenny soon forgets all about her perfume when suddenly confronted by a strange man in a turban. The crazed swami grabs hold of her shoulders and presses his gnarly black beard to Jenny's ear. He whispers something peculiar about her sister, shoves a piece of paper into Jenny's purse and then runs off into the night jibbering like some mal-adjusted zoo keeper. Jenny slowly opens up the paper and reads the list carefully. She then does something she has not done since her sister's disappearance.... Jenny smiles.

Turn 2 Arkham Encounter
Wizard's Hill
Wilson and Earl struggle to the summit of Wizard's Hill. The almost vertical approach of the hogback frazzle the two men in the afternoon sun. Astonishingly, there is a spectacled man rubbing chalk over a map of the Dunwich county, the map is lying upon a toppled stone block; he is copying the eccentric scribbles engraved there.
"I am Professor Rice," says the man extending a hand in friendship. "I heard you panting with exertion; the climb is marvellous exercise! All of this," the Professor signals the surrounding country with an arc of his arm, "is most disquieting."
