OOC: Chapter 2 - LONDON, Starts 28th Jan 1925

At long last the Stars are almost Right. Soon Nyarlathotep's plans will come to fruition. Then the world will be changed irrevocably -- but not quite yet. Pesky human investigators have learned much, but can they survive long enough to make sense of what they know?

Just jumped in to say hi. I'll be playing a character named Mikey. I hope I can help out and help kick some Nyarlathotep butt. (thats assuming he has one.)

It depends on which Mask he's using at the time. ;)

All right, we now have someone to play Andrei!

So thus far the party includes: Detective Sergeant Jones (just your local bobby), Nethaniel Moore (intrepid bookstore owner), Mikey (friendly neighborhood criminal), Andrei (resident lovable madman), and we'll likely soon have Timour (the ever so obedient soldier). 5 players ain't so bad, ain't so bad at all.

Laraqua, Saw you posted my character Mikey. Noticed a typo, and it went back to what I sent you.

HP should be 11, not 21.

Nah, I was waiting for DSIGFUSS to post as it's a good character defining moment but I think I've given him about as much time as I can. When / if he comes back, that's cool but I'll need to move on in the meantime.

I'll be away at conventions October 31-November 3 and November 8-10, so I probably won't be able to post then. I'm not sure if I'll even be able to post between them, as I work during the week and will have little time to catch up, though I am off November 11.

I wrote up an awesome and in-depth post for BentheRat and then lost it when I logged out in-between.

Ye gads.

Will be re-writing it later on when the irritation subsides.

Arrrggghhh, I hate that when it happens. I always end up going a shorter synopsis the 2nd time around. Feel like I really did lose something.

For years I've always copied whatever I type to the clipboard as I'm composing it frequently to prevent just that from happening. Once in a while I still lose it somehow, but that's very rare.

Well, it looks like all of my attempts to draw in a bigger crowd has failed due to the spectacular number of pages of posts one would need to trawl through even with the NPC pick ups that only require two pages of back reading. Oh well, I think that's the trouble with trying to pick up a game after a couple years worth of hiatus. I'd rather cancel it now so that, especially in the case of BenTheRat, it doesn't get Masks of Nyarlathotep spoiled too thoroughly for future attempts.

It's sad to say bon voyage to this lovely campaign but such is the way of things sometimes. I've struggled with the decision but really think this is the right one. Since the old characters aren't getting picked up, it'd be better to simply start over - though regrettably I'm running too many games to consider picking this one up from the start.

Thank you Mr. Handy, Syrinx and BenTheRat for giving it a go but I really don't think it can be done justice with such a small group.

There are always spots open in The Last Express if you want one.

Well hate to see you end it, but I can't say I'm really surprised. It sounded like a game needing 6-8 and we were running with 3. You did a great job getting me in, thanks for that. I had a good time.

You're welcome, and thank you for running it. It was fun while it lasted. If you ever do have time to start over again from the beginning, count me in!
