Monday Sept 4 - Langdon

Post by Gaffer »

You’re awake before the alarm goes off. You feel unrefreshed by your sleep. Your dreams were an uneasy combination of dancing with Marlene Hirt and fleeing through dark streets as bats pursued you.

Jamison brings a tray as soon as he hears you stirring, with the morning paper and word that the early fog has burned off, but the weather has turned chilly.

You’ve just finished your toast and coffee, feeling marginally better, when the phone rings.

“Langdon, it’s Dex Ford. Esposito may have turned up some stuff yesterday and Delores says she’s got something too. How about we all go down to Hudson Street Stationhouse to talk things over before we go see Miss Hirt at her brother’s place? Get there around eleven."

[Reply to this so I know you've seen it, then go to Monday Sept 4 - Hudson Street Station when it's posted.]

<awww geez I feel like a bum for not being around. So sorry!>

Despite having slept poorly, Langdon feels like he's overslept. He practically knocks Jamison over as he lurches out of bed and rushes through his morning routine.
