Jahee, subvocally to Tschhh-

"Ask the man who the other group--the ones who captured the ghoul--are?"

"Agreed," subvocalizes Y'nkee. "I think they must be the men we ran into last night at the cemetery, but it would be good to get confirmation."

Y'nkee is just a little too distracted by the conversation. "Since you made a deal with these people," he says, "there must be some record of it. Their names have to be written down somewhere."

-Well, I guess I could look in our database. It's just a question of looking in our database. Oh, well, just let me ask one of the... Wait, where is everyone?
You notice that all scientists have left the place.

"Yes, that is odd," says Y'nkee. "Don't they have work to do in here? They can't all have taken a break at the same time."

-Yes, this is not suppose to happen.
You see him taken a small device and start talking to it.
-Here it's Taylor speaking, I'm in the lab room in level -1. Why have everyone vanished? Oh? What kind of technical problem? And why I wasn't informed? You didn't wanted to bother me? We will continue this talk latter, prepare yourself to have serious trouble!- and he stops speaking to the machine.
-I'm very sorry, this is very dificult to find competent personel. Where was I? Rigth, about the names, let's go to my office.

"Of course, lead the way," says Y'nkee. He subvocalizes to the others. "This is the perfect opportunity for one of us to stay behind and rescue the ghoul, while the room is empty. I think it would be best if he were freed by a fellow ghoul." As he follows Taylor out of the lab, he positions his large bulk between him and Argyle and Eleanor so that he blocks Taylor's view of them, hoping he won't notice until too late that one of them is gone.

Taylor is near the elevator and call it. It takes several minutes until the door starts to open.
OOC: Who stays behind?

OOC,Not me. I think it should be either Argyle or Eleanor. Argyle is a PC, but his player hasn't posted in quite a while.

Taylor called the elevator. Meanwhile, Argyle tried to hide himself behind a desk, full of papers and strange machines. After some minutes, the door opened... full of men dressed in black with weapons. Taylor was shocked with this vision.

"We've got company, Argyle," subvocalizes Y'nkee. "A bunch of humans with guns just got out of our elevator. Be ready in case they come your way."

Y'nkee steps to the side, as if he is getting out of the men's way and expecting them to move past him.
OOC,How many men are there?

OOC,5 men, it was the limit that could enter the elevator
The men walks in your direction and one of them shouts:
-Put your hands in your head and don't make any suspicious move! You are under arrest... your dirty thing

"Tschhh, use your mind powers," subvocalizes Y'nkee as he raises his hands as slowly as he can get away with doing it. "Try to get them to attack each other. Argyle, they're onto us. Free the ghoul and get out of there fast!" Out loud he says. "You cannot arrest me. You are not the police. But please feel free to call them."

Tschhh very slowly raised his hands and suddenly said to one of the men, by pointing to the leader: Kill him!

It was impossible to understand if the spell had made any effect (since he was using mirrorshades), until and he shot his leader.

You all saw the right leg exploding in a mess of gore and blood. The other 3 jumped aside and two prepared to shot their former companion, and another one was hesitant looking at you.
OOC,With the effect of surprise, I'l let you all play first, before they start shooting. The orders is the following by dex: first Y'nkee then Jahee. Argyle is going to free the ghoul and Tshhh won't be able to do anything beside covering himself, since he spent a lot of energy in that spell

OOC,Isn't Eleanor with us too? I'm not sure which weapons we have on us. If it's concealable, such as a knife, we've probably still got it. The trident and Psychic Rifle are too big to lug around without drawing notice. I'm not sure how big our HPGs are. In any case, a Deep One is never truly unarmed when he's got claws, which do 1d6+db damage. And Y'nkee is pretty good with them. From the Character Creation rules, it appears that we can attack twice per round with claws. The base skill is 25%, but Y'nkee has 51%. He also has Martial Arts(Dance of the Deeps) at 51%, which not only increases the damage to 2d6+db but also grants him an extra attack if one of his two attacks succeeds - and another extra attack if that attack succeeds. Once we start taking these guys down, we could also grab their weapons, though they'll likely be unfamiliar to us. I'm guessing a Knowledge:Humanity roll would be needed to figure out how to fire them. Don't forget that you also have spells. If any of my attacks cause my target to go down, I'll move on to the next one - one of the other two guys about to shoot the one under our control. I don't think I need to roll a hit location on that second attack. ;) That roll is a critical hit with any attack you'd be using. I just made two great attack rolls, one of them a crit too, which doubles damage again! Let's go Dr. Zoidberg on these clowns! Woobwoobwoobwoobwoob! :D

Y'nkee rushes at the only human who is still looking at him, his battle instincts as sharp as ever in spite of lack of recent use. His bony dorsal ridge stands out straight as his claws blur in a whirling dance of death. He slashes the man hard across his midsection. His next attack is far deadlier, eviscerating his victim instantly. He tries to strike at the next man in line, but comes up short.

OOC,Tabs, it's your turn. You have a critical, use it wisely!
