-We are very discreet persons, and any secret that is there, will be safe with us. You may let us enter.
The man hesitate, but then relaxed.
-Well, it's not what you think. What we have inside the door isn't related to our main investigation, and only a very few persons know about that. Be prepared, you may get a shock. But if you want to be scientists, this is the time. He opened the door of the office and started to walk in direction of the famous door.

[Mr. Handy]

Y'nkee follows along, looking forward to seeing what is behind the mysterious door.

Be prepared, you may get a shock.

"I'm unshockable!"

[kabukiman]

The man put his finger in a small box (with a red light) near the door... the light changes to green and the door open alone!
He enters a small room, and asks you to enter. The place starts moving (it's an elevator). Finally the door open to a new vast room.
There are a dozen of persons working there. They are all dressed like the scientists upstairs, but the don't look at your group or talk to you, as the others. And then you see it. A ghoul in a strange bed with lot's of strange machines. He seems to be sleeping.

Jahee, subvocally-

"Careful, you ghouls among us, don't get excited if that other ghoul is part of an experiment."

Jahee asks the man-

"Incredible! What type of creature is this? Is it dead?"

[Mr. Handy]

"Where did you find it?" asks Y'nkee. "How does it fit into your plans to produce protein from plants?"

[kabukiman]

-Well, it's a radical new solution. That creature as incredible as it may sound, is actually human. And live in this city. But somehow, he have developed some amazing abilities. He is very strong and resistant, he can see in the dark, has a smell like a dog. Can eat any kind of food. And can regenerate damage that could kill a bull. We are studying it's DNA to copy it's properties, without the ugly face of course.

[Mr. Handy]

"That is fascinating," says Y'nkee. "However did you find him? And how are you compensating him for his help?"

[kabukiman]

-We are not. Let's just say that he was involved in activities very illegal. Actually I get sick of thinking of that. So it's actually a favor we are doing to him, this way he won't be arrested and he will actually do something for the rest of humanity.

[Mr. Handy]

"I see," says Y'nkee. "May we speak to him?"

[kabukiman]

-No, you can't. He is sedated. He was a bit... dangerous.

[Mr. Handy]

"Is he the only one of his kind, or are there others like him?" asks Y'nkee.

[Tabs]

Jahee-

"'Sedated': Do you mean that it is kept prisoner?"

[kabukiman]

-Not prisioner. Just in our... custody.

[Mr. Handy]

"You never answered my question," says Y'nkee. "Are there any others like him?"

"Custody!"

Jahee waits on the reply to Yankee's question....



"Are there more of these creatures?"

[kabukiman]

-I don't know actually the details of the capture, so it is possible that others lioke him exist. But as I said before, it is human, even if grotesque.

[Mr. Handy]

"And where exactly did you find him?" asks Y'nkee.

[kabukiman]

In a sewer I think, but as I said before, I don't know the details. It wasn't our corporation that captured him, but another group that we enjoyed good relations. Since we are very good in genetics, they have give it to us, in exchange of anything we discover. We have share what we discover, but it's been a true mine! Wait, now that you are talking about it, I think there was another that was killed some time before, but they didn't give it us. But who cares? We have one that is alive!
