Tschhh asked to the guide.
-This is very interesting, but I notice that there is one last door. Could we go there.
-I'm sorry, but that is a restricted area. I'm not allowed to go there. Only someone with a bigger clearance can go there.

[Mr. Handy]

"Can we talk to someone who does have clearance, please?" asks Y'nkee.

-That would be Mr Taylor. He won't let you, it's a waste of time. I'm not allowed myself.

[Mr. Handy]

"He won't even let you see it?" asks Y'nkee. "Aren't you curious what's behind that door and why you're not allowed to see it?"

[kabukiman]

-Well, yes I admit sometimes I'm a bit curious, but I have a family and it's not worth losing my job. And thery are probably just afraid of some spies that steal their secrets. No know, rival companies getting their formulas.

[Mr. Handy]

"Yes, I can understand that," says Y'nkee. "We'd still like to speak to Mr. Taylor. Even if he won't give us access to that door, I'm sure he has a lot of useful knowledge."

[kabukiman]

-Well, if that's what you want, I can speak with him. I don't promiss anything.
He asks you to wait in a room. After some time he says that Mr Taylor will receive you ... in an hour. A hour passes, and then a women come and call you.
The office is very big, with lot's of books and a computer. Mr Taylor is in his 50's, is a bald and sligthly fat man.

[Mr. Handy]

"Good day, Mr. Taylor," says Y'nkee. "My colleagues and I are doing a research project on the feasibility of genetically modified foods as a potential solution to world hunger, and we have a few questions. First, we'd like to know more about the plants you are working on that will provide protein." He starts off with something less likely to cause offense before even considering broaching the subject of the mysterious forbidden door.

-I thought that you had already been informed of that kind of solution. We are developing several plants that will be higly resistant to disease and with a higher level of protein.

[Mr. Handy]

"We've been informed of the plants, yes," says Y'nkee, "but not the details. How is it possible to have plants produce as much protein as meat? What breakthroughs could enable you to achieve this?"

[kabukiman]

-That's our little secret! We have been investing in this project in years. But it's not such a big deal as it seems. Only until now it was cheaper to keep having cows and pigs, so nobody cared to do what we did.

[Mr. Handy]

"Is that what you're working on behind that door in the lab?" asks Y'nkee. "They showed us the lab, but they wouldn't let us through that door."

[kabukiman]

He looks suddenly suspicious and cold.
-Yes, it is.

[Mr. Handy]

"Tschhh," subvocalizes Y'nkee, "I think now would be an opportune time to use your powers to convince him to let us see what's behind the door, but try to be subtle. He's already suspicious."

"Sir, we are curious students,--very curious!--that is all. Forgive us if we are being impertinent."

"If Tschhh fails we could try using bribery or even threats."

"I don't think either of those would work," subvocalizes Y'nkee, "Mr. Taylor must be weatlhy and powerful to be in this position. We do not have sufficient wealth to bribe him, and I doubt he would bow to threats from the people we appear to be. No, if this does not work, we should return at night and gain entry through stealth."
