Mi-Go,No, there isn't a leader

[Mr. Handy]

Patrick jacks out from the Net and goes looking for Vance to fill him in on what he's learned.

[Mi-Go Agent]

"Have you heard," Vance asks them, "about what happened?"

[kabukiman]

-Yeah, one of the team found some kind of animal and got scared. They should have take one of us to shoot the beast.

[Mr. Handy]

OOC,Yes, he is talking with 2 other mercenaries

[Mi-Go Agent]

"Just what I thought. If the thing follows our scent, it could get into the food or do something before we get a chance to shoot it. I'm thinking we should have some way to keep watch through the night."

[Mr. Handy]

"Hi, Vance," says Patrick as he walks over. "I found out some interesting things and a possible lead for further research, but we'll need the help of the professors. The book we need to look up is in Miskatonic University's library, but it's in a restricted section."

[Mi-Go Agent]

"I see. I'll be here for a little bit, so you should go talk to them without me."

[Mr. Handy]

"All right," says Patrick. "I'll give you all the details later." He goes off to look for one of the professors who had explored the ruins with him.

[kabukiman]

You find them.

[Mr. Handy]

"Professor," says Patrick. "I found out on the Net that there's a book that mentions N'Kai. It's a mythical land where strange gods are said to be sleeping, and the book said that one day they would awaken and destroy humanity. It was stolen from the book's original owner by a man who called himself Armand Duillon who belonged to some sort of cult. The book is called something like Liber Ivonis. It doesn't exist on the Net, but Miskatonic's library has a copy of a book with a similar title that could be the same book. It's called the Book of Eibon, but access to it is restricted. Do you have the authority to have someone back at the University get access the book, or if not, do you know who can?"

[kabukiman]

-Well, I can speak with our dean and he will "convince" the librarian, no doubt. Just let me make a call.
After a call, he says.
-Done! The dean said he would ordered the book to be scanned. A small team in the university will study it to see any info that can interest us and they should send a resumé tomorow.

[Mr. Handy]

"Okay, thanks," says Patrick. "I look forward to seeing it in the morning. Good night." He returns to his tent and tries to go to sleep, though it isn't easy after his bizarre encounter in the ancient temple.

[kabukiman]

Patrick has an uneasy sleep and dreams with tentacular things in the matrix. Vance dreams with beating skeletons and getting treasures. You both awake early in the morning (6 AM) for a new day.

[Mi-Go Agent]

Vance is a morning person. He's out of bed fast, and soon strolling around the camp to make sure nothing happened in the night and find some breakfast.

Some minutes latter, the Professors, the mercenaries and Patrick awake. Finnaly, when they are finishing breakfast, it's the students time
-Take you breakfast quick, we need to go-says one of the professors.
There will be again two teams (the same persons from yesterday). Vance team will return to the mound, and continue the excavation. The other will continue to explore the city (avoiding the temple), but with one mercenary this time.

[Mr. Handy]

"All right," says Patrick as he finishes the last of his breakfast. "Did the analysis of that book arrive yet? I'd like to read it before we visit the ruins if that's possible."

[kabukiman]

Professor Derby asks Patrick if there are any news. Besides the groups, the two scientists will make analyses to the bones Vance team had bring, and Carlos will stay with a professor to photograph the scroll.
Ping. Patrick have a call.

[Mr. Handy]

"I haven't heard anything yet," says Patrick to Professor Derby, "but maybe that's what this call is about." He answers the phone. "Hello?"
