Turn 7 Upkeep Phase

Mark prepares to head upstairs and deal with the mad patient there.
OOC,Draw 1 card and gain 1 resource. Discard Flashlight. The problem is that the act card said only someone in Daniel's cell could take control of him, which suggests you could no longer have Dr. Christopher Milan at that point, as I wasn't in the cell with you when you found him. I've taken Daniel for now (he'll help absorb the horror I take from the Mad Patient upstairs).

Aw, nuts! It’d be a waste to discard Dr. Christopher? Would you be willing to have Harrigan come into the cell and pick up Daniel?

OOC,Unfortunately, it's too late for that. Daniel automatically came under your control as soon as you entered the cell according to the card. Only you could have entered it first, as I have no clues left. You also couldn't have known in advance which cell you would find. I think you have a second copy of him in your deck, though it may not come up for a while, and you did waste the resources.

OOC,I wish I could have taken him, but the exact words of the card were "Choose an investigator at Patient Confinement (Daniel's Cell)." Since you were the only one in the cell at the time (the act advanced and the card was revealed as soon as you entered and flipped the cell, which was a Forced effect), you were the only choice.
