Paul goes to the nearest cafe and orders a sandwich.

Before entering the coffe, you see 2 man in a truck leaving the place. They have a tought /but normal look.
You are served a sandwich.

[Ash]

I eat it.

Time for another rehersal.

[Ash]

Paul drags himself back to reharsal and prepares his lines in his head.

The rest of the company is waiting for you: Elisabeth and Mary. Miss Marsh is there, with her enigmatic smile.
-Well, let's begin from the start. You realize, that you have never make a rehersal of the full play, but only of parts. So the story is about a city (Carcosa) who lost it's king recently and a new king was appointed. When a messenger arrives and tell of the arrival of the king who was supposely dead and that the city will be punished, a panic engulfes the city, and finaly everybody is killed.
Make an acting roll.

I have come with great news of a new King who wishes to destroy this city.

Your performance is boring and without any wits. But nobody seems to care much.
-Very good, you were excelent. I'm sure you will make a good representation tomorow- says Miss Marsh.

Miss Marsh I don't believe we have had the pleasure of meeting. I'm Paul

Why Miss Marsh of of course. Is there somewhere where we can talk? I need to discuss some important changes to the script and the way I play my character.

-Changes in the script? Very well, let's come to my house.

[Ash]

As she is driving she asks, you:
-So, what changes do you have in mind?

[Ash]

Maybe we need to work on the opening a bit more. For example there should be a tableux at first as the audience are taking there seats. Like in Shakespeare when the actors are on stage but not moving at first. When the audience are seated the play can then come to life.

She starts laughing and seems amused
-That seems interesting. Any other sugestion?
