Bruno fires his shotgun from the back of the truck at the pursuing vehicle but the Innsmouth roads, coupled with Felix's erratic driving, cause him to miss...

OOC Question,Can we brace ourselves against the bed of the truck for a better chance of hitting? I'd like to go for a called shot to a headlight. What sort of negatives am I facing? I figure if we can blind them, they'll eventually run themselves off the road even if we can't shoot them.

Luke says to the others as he takes aim, "I'm going for their lights." The jostling bed of the truck doesn't make it very easy, but Luke expects he would have missed that one anyway. "Well, if I miss, maybe I'll cripple the engine with luck." He fires, but the light is uneffected.

Bruno ducks down and reloads his shotgun.
"Dammit! We have to pick up that editor on the way out. We don't need these freaks on our ass!" He shouts over the wind and the rattling of the old pick-up over the uneven Innsmouth roads to Luke. At this point, he is unconcerned but sure that Alyssa cannot hear his cursing...
Man, we need a break... He grimaces to himself...

ooc,Ok... this is why I suggested the Editor go with the truck. I thought that's what happened, and why we're all riding in the back.

OOC,Sorry, maybe I made an error in our established plan. I'll wait for the Keeper to verify. My memory can occasionally be faulty at my advanced age so apologies offered. No need to get your Shoggoth up in a bunch ;)

Manuel mumbles something in portuguese, that it's crew recognize as a portuguese curse about the mothers of the locals...
Alyssa takes better aim at the car behind them and fires again.
OOC,We're heading for the building where my editor is to pick him and the other crewman up, I believe.
Are there any modifiers to this shot, or do I just roll against Shotgun?

Luke instinctively ducked when they returned fire from the other car. He hunkered down and took aim once more at the front tire of the vehicle behind them, this time striking true!

OOC1: Alyssa: penalty of 15%
OOC2: Luke: please, roll 1d6, and then the damage.
OOC: My bad, I'l correct the post.
The car makes a weird sound and you see the driver losing control, and it hits a wall.
There is more people in streets, because the fire. With the night, the people have a look even more sinister, but they seem more confused than dangerous. Suddenly, two men appeared in the middle of the road making signs.

OOC,He said he was making a called shot at the front tire.
Are the two men in the middle of the street fishy looking, and how far away are they? Are there any modifiers if I want to shoot at them?

We got some on the street...! Bruno yells over the engine and the sound of air whipping by even though he is sure the others already know. He trains his shotgun in that direction and pauses before firing, ensuring that they are indeed foe, not friend...

OOC: make all spot hidden roll to see if you recognize the two persons.
