Bruno waits for the second vehicle to arrive and takes aim slightly back a bit, hoping to lead the vehicle before he shoots.

This'll be a tough one in the dark at a moving target...I gotta hit that front tire. Bruno thinks to himself as he exhales. What if I miss and they stop...?

But before he can have second thoughts, the vehicle roars into view. Bruno focuses, aims and fires....and misses!

Both car advance in the night. Felix is driving to the front of the warehouse, and Alyssa sees the 2 guards outside shooting to where they suppose Luke is.

OOC,Will I be in a position to shoot at one of the guards from where I'm sitting as we go past them? Will we be close enough for it to be point blank?

Alyssa rolls down the window just enough to poke the barrel of her shotgun through, and she blasts one of the two thugs in the back as the truck rolls past, doing massive damage. She ducks down low and works the pump on the shotgun to get the next shell into the barrel. "Got one," she gasps. "It felt even easier the second time. I hope that takes some pressure off the captain. Keep moving!"

OOC,Looks like [b]Alyssa[/b] just invented the drive-by shooting. :shock:

One of the creatures is projected several meters with the blast, and a huge spray of blood cover the front of the warehouse. The other creature enters in panic and forgetting any other danger runs to the inside the house.
-Wow, that what a hell of a shot!- says Felix.
The truck after some time is again in the place where Bruno is waiting. And no sign of Luke.

"Thank you," says Alyssa, blushing as she reloads the shotgun. "I've never fired a gun before tonight. I had no idea I was a regular Annie Oakley." She turns to look at Bruno outside. "There's one less in front - one dead, the other took cover inside - but we can't keep circling forever. They'll mob this place soon. Where's the captain?"

"I don't know but you're right..." Bruno returns his glance towards the Customs House, hoping that maybe Luke would appear at that moment but he did not. "We have to make one more lap around to give him more time then we'll have to go."

This time, Bruno jumps into the box of the truck. He is not sure if the bastards got Luke but if they did not, the thought of abandoning his old friend in this accursed place was too much to bear...

Luke attempted to climb, lessening the chances of injury in his escape, but the bottoms of his shoes were wet and didn't give him much grip. He fell off the crate.

Alyssa waves for Luke to get in the truck.

Bruno alerts the driver. "Hold on Felix! There's Luke..."

He crouches on one knee in the box of the truck while the scanning the area with his shotgun, watching for any unexpected guests.

"Boss, you alright? We gotta go!" He shouts to Luke, unconcerned now at the volume of his voice. He is relieved his friend has made it out alive...

Luke hobbles along as fast as his twisted ankle can take him. "Just slipped coming out, but they didn't plug me - got that going for me." He makes it to the bed of the truck and grabs hold of Bruno's hand saying, "Give me a tug."

Bruno pulls Luke into the box of the truck...

"Glad to see you made it old man." He says with a grin then turns to address the cab."Alright Felix, let's get moving! Hopefully Haynes is ready to be picked up."

With Luke in the truck, Bruno again turns with his shotgun to make sure no one is sneaking up on them before they leave...

Luke takes the moment to catch his breath and reload his pistol. He responded to Bruno "It's gonna take something a little worse than some over-evolved, land-walking carp to take out Luke Olsen."

"Let's get out of here," says Alyssa as she rolls the window up. She keeps an eye out through it, the shotgun in her lap.

And the car behind you appears again, shooting. And you hear some shouts. Everyone that can shoot, please to, with a penalty of 15%.

Alyssa rolls the window back down a crack and pokes the shotgun barrel out, firing wildly at the pursuing car. The blast misses.
