Bruno does what he can to help Manuel up to the window above, glancing back into the darkness and waiting for trouble...

Dammit! Come on!

He glances back at his weapons on the floor knowing that if he has to reach for them, Manuel will fall but he remains determined to get his injured comrade up to safety. He hopes once he has him there that Alyssa can follow suit...

Alyssa carefully guides Manuel through the window from the outside and helps him to descend to the alley. She keeps her eye out for the truck and for any signs of movement.

Luke takes one more shot towoard the others, then sprints up the stairs.

Bruno gathers his weapons and begins to make his way back to the door to call for Luke again when the sounds of gunfire emanate from that direction.

He probably wouldn't hear me calling him back here...

Bruno retreats back to the exit window. He is wary of leaving his captain and good friend behind but then again, he's known Luke long enough to know that the man can get himself out of a bind. Besides, Alyssa and Manuel would need help outside. He climbs up the rope to the window and then outside to join the other two...

Alyssa cocks an ear, hearing something clearly.

As Bruno descends the rope into the alley, he thinks he hears something...

Alyssa and Bruno you start listening a car...

Luke's retreat is quick as he seeks escape from the building.

"There's a vehicle coming," whispers Alyssa, pressing herself against the wall in the shadows and bringing Manuel with her. "I sure hope that's our truck." She douses her light and watches carefully in the direction from which she heard the noise.

Bruno, hearing the approaching vehicle, finishes his descent by rope into the alley to join Alyssa and Manuel to wait for its arrival...

Luke arrives at a room that is with a window, where you see Alyssa in the street with Manuel.
After what seems an eternity (20 seconds maybe?), you see your truck in your direction... and hear gunshoots.

ooc,Is it the closet room with the rope, or am I going to have to jump for it?

Luke looks for something to wedge the door shut.

Alyssa helps Manuel towards the truck, keeping her shotgun ready.

Bruno catches up to Alyssa and Manuel, his pistol drawn and at the ready.

"I hope that's our man..." He whispers to the others...

Luke: You can simply jump to a crate (and suffer an injury) or try to use climb.


You all see your truck moving at full speed in your direction, with someone behind shooting it. The truck stops near you and you recognize your mates inside.

[Mr. Handy]

Alyssa assists Manuel into the cab of the truck and helps him slide over to the middle seat, then climbs after him into the shotgun seat. "The captain is holding them off," she says. "We got in there and found Manuel just fine, but then two of those fishy guys came downstairs. We ambushed them, but one of them shot Manuel. I...I had to kill it." As she speaks, she loads a fresh shell into the shotgun to replace the one she had fired.

Bruno remains outside of the truck and closes the door behind Alyssa.

"I'll wait and see if Luke makes it out of the warehouse. Felix,take the truck around the block and swing back around for us! Go!"

Bruno runs back to the wall of the Customs House and takes cover behind a crate. While there, he holsters his pistol and unslings his shotgun from his shoulder.

Kabukiman,I assume the truck is being chased by another vehicle. If they pass by close enough to me, I'll attempt to shoot out the tire, hopefully causing a crash. If I'm incorrect, I'll edit this post. Thanks.

Felix mumbles something as "be quick" but comply.

"My father was in the war," says Alyssa, continuing to talk without realizing it and not addressing anyone in particular. "He's known for his photographs that he took at the front, but he was also there as a soldier. I've asked him what it was like, but he didn't want to talk about it much. I wouldn't have understood, but I think I know a little of what he went through now. This is war, in a way. It's not like I killed a man, though. They weren't even human. They weren't even human."
