Luggage

Post by G-Returner »

In this thread I want you to post the contents of the luggage your investigator will be taking along on the Orient Express. This is both an opportunity to reveal more about your character, and a way to precisely determine which equipment you will or will not have with you.

While you are still in London, your list can be edited as many times as you wish if you remember something you had previously missed. However once the journey has begun no extra edits will be allowed.

Be advised that all large or potentially dangerous items will have to be locked in the luggage wagon during the trip, and will only be available when you disembark.

Felicity's luggage consists of multiple steamer trunks (she's depending on porters and such to move them for her). She does not travel light to say the least. Her luggage contains:

First aid kit
Camera and lots of film
Travel guides for various cities including all cities along the Orient Express route
Pens, ink, and plenty of writing paper

Weapons:
12-gauge double barrel shotgun (for hunting) with multiple boxes of shells (100 in total), in its own carrying case

Books:
Numerous books, mostly literature, notably "Ulysses" by James Joyce

Clothes:
A very extensive wardrobe, containing a variety of clothing, including fancy dresses, everyday but still expensive and lovely outfits, several pairs of shoes, stylish yet functional boots, bathing suits, underwear, night clothes, multiple hats, and so on. In short, she has something for every occasion. She also has various pieces of valuable jewelry.

Toiletries:
Toiletries and cosmetics, including a straight razor

Food, drinks and tobacco:
Bottles of expensive wine, champagne, and liquor

Misc:
Sewing kit
Traveller's cheques
