Re: OOC talk : Horror on the Orient Express
Is she called Andrea Stefani in the booklet? Only Andrea's a man's name (in Italian).
Just sayin'.

Re: OOC talk : Horror on the Orient Express
Yes, that is her proper name. I didn't know it was a man's name in Italian... I looked it up and it turns out the name's gender varies a lot depending on the country of origin: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrea This character really is a woman though So let's just say she has family outside of Italy, hence the name meant as a female name.
Re: OOC talk : Horror on the Orient Express
Wings of War (the game) is designed by the Italian (male) Andrea Angiolillo - so your comments had occurred to me as well. I just thought that Italians are not hung-up on gender!
BTW I'll be away from Saturday through to Thursday.

Re: OOC talk : Horror on the Orient Express
I have a very busy couple of days ahead, so I won't be able to post again before Wednesday lunchtime (Wednesday morning, if you're in the US) and perhaps not even then depending on how things go.

Re: OOC talk : Horror on the Orient Express
Sorry guys, I can't write much at the moment. I'll be back very soon.
Re: OOC talk : Horror on the Orient Express
The above + not recieving my e-mail notification (for some obscure reason) are why I haven't posted. As Captain Darling eloquently wrote when he discovered he was to 'go over the top': "Bugger!"G-Returner wrote:Sorry guys, I can't write much at the moment. I'll be back very soon.
Edit: After reading the posts I see I didn't miss much, maybe I'd have posted: "Holy crap! Run for it."

Christmas plans
Might this be a good time to discuss our availability over the festive season? I should be around every day until Xmas Eve, and I might be able to post on the 26th but I'm away from Sunday 27th through to Wednesday 30th (I think, have to double-check the dates).

Re: OOC talk : Horror on the Orient Express
From Christmas Eve until New Year, I probably won't be able to post at all (or extremely scarcely).

Sadly, my mother-in-law is visiting us; the good news is that excepting the big Chrimbo days, I'll be online.

Re: OOC talk : Horror on the Orient Express
I will be away from home all this next week, and internet access where I am bound is absolutly pants - i.e. non-existant. I will post if I possibly can, though I reckon it will be unlikely.
See you around the 18th / 19th

Re: OOC talk : Horror on the Orient Express
Merry Christmas and happy new year to all. From this moment until the new year, I probably won't be able to post. I will if I get the chance, but it's not guaranteed. The game will resume properly in 2010.
