"Coach did your hear me? what should we do?"

We should try to find that janitor, donald, see if he can get the power back up.

"What bout my girl or at least trying to find that ahole Kyle to keep him from doing something worse? Anyway the groundskeeper is most likly outside mowing or what ever while the shop teacher is probably in his classroom. And if he is not there there are most likly tools in that room that I can use to help repair the generator. So I say lets go either get my girl or find the shop teacher."

"Your girlfried is gonna have bigger problems then kyle if we dont get the power back on, in fact, we all will. But lets go to the shop classroom."

"Well come on then."
Darnell took the lead with his baseball bat at the ready.

In the north hall, ground floor-
Roy didn't hear anything either. "Yeah, someone should kick that punk's ass," he said to Darnell as he followed him and Coach Moore to the shop classroom, which was just south of the gym down the same hall. As they arrived, the shop teacher Declan McLeod emerged from the room carrying a toolkit. Kyle Rogers was with him.

"Looking for me?" asked Declan, his hearing still sharp in spite of his advanced years. "Hey, here comes someone else!" Kyle heard the noise too. He scowled briefly at the football players before turning his attention to the south. Jerry Law, the school security guard, had just entered from the lobby, heading past the bathroom doors and reaching the crowd outside the workshop. Further down the hall, the auditorium doors were on the left and the gym doors were on the right. At the far end of the hall were the stairs that led down to the basement and up to the upper level and the roof.

"Why don't you go with the shop teacher Kyle, that way you can actually do something useful instead of messing around with my girl."

"ENOUGH!!!!", says the coach in a booming voice. "We have bigger problems."

***Coach walks over to Darnell and whispers to him***

"You can keep a eye on him now, alright, but we still need to work together if you ever wanna see your girl again"

Darnell stares at the coach and whispers back,

Beertender,"Coach your right we need to work togther but I cannot fix a generator. I do not know how. And all I wanted was to find the shop teacher or the groundskeeper and have them fix it. Now that they are here we need to go find my girl. If you want to stay here fine but Roy and I can go cause if I have to spend time with this punk I may take this foil to his ass and that would not be good. Alight?

"who you talking to Security man?"

-I'm going all alone. I will leave you hear discussing.
And he leaves the place to go to the generator.

"Sure old Man go away. Of course you should keep your eyes on punks like Kyle though!" Darnell said to the security cop's retreating back.
Turning to Roy he said, "Dude lets go find my girl. You coming coach?"

In the north hall, ground floor-
Kyle glared at Darnell. "I'm not messing around with LaTanya," he said. "Ask her yourself if you don't believe me. She's too good for you, anyway." He followed Declan McLeod and Jerry Law to the stairs. "It's jocks like him and Roy McCrumb you need to keep an eye on. They're always causing trouble."

Power Failure

The door to the boys' bathroom opened, and Keith Stewart and Miguel Garcia emerged. They seemed surprised to see the crowd of people gathered in the hall. Then Principal Lawrence Adler led a small group into the hall from the lobby to the south, carrying his trademark baseball bat in both hands. Vice Principal Sharon Kaplan, his secretary Laura Shelley, the school nurse Michelle Marquez, and LaTanya Washington followed close behind him.

"Darnell!" called LaTanya, smiling and waving at him.

"Okay, people!" bellowed the principal. "Everyone please stay calm. We've got some good people here, and I'm sure we can get the juice flowing again quickly. In the meantime, the rest of us need to get upstairs. We'll be safer on higher ground. If any of you know anything about the current situation or have any suggestions, I'd like to hear what you have to say. Is there anyone else downstairs who isn't out in the hall?"

Keith Stewart

"Yo Principal, I've been taking a dump," Keith sniggers and looks around for appreciation of his humour.

Darnell walked over to his girlfriend and gave her a hug and a kiss. "Hey Baby, I was so worried for you that I made coach let me come look for you!" Turning to the princeapal he said, "Sir, the Rent A Cop is going to fix the generator along with the shop teacher and that punk Kyle. I think I also heard the voices of the grondskeeper and that bum that hangs around the football field."

Keith Stewart

Keith apologises, "Sorry Principal for what I just said, I am a tad nervous!: walking dead, prospect of being eaten. For what it is worth I second the idea of going upstairs, it will be safer won't it?"

To Darnell:
"Rent A Cop, who's that?"

Darnell put his arm around Keith and said, "The Security Dude, dude"
