IC: Timour, alone at the Museum.

Hi Trixie, sorry for the wait.

Timour will be able to join in the ‘current situation’ in another combat round or two. Hopefully by this weekend.

He’s actually out of sight of the cops, they let him out of a side entrance and I also assumed that the Bentley was parked a short walk away from the Museum, down a side street. It’s quite probable that the cops and reporters outside the museum have heard the gunfire, but Timour at least has a head start.

As he rush back to the car Timour hears another gunshot and the sound of his brother shouting, through it’s impossible to make out exactly what he said.

Gun in hand, Timour cautiously approaches the corner of the cobbled side street where he left the Bentley. The car is about fifty yards away, down the narrow street, but the two street lights nearest have gone out for some reason, Timour peers though the thick fog to try to make out what is going on.

Some distance behind him he can hear the sound of a commotion as the journalists and policemen outside the British Museum react to the gunshots. He estimates that it will be at least a minute though before anyone from the museum can reach this darkened side street.

Timour can’t see anything in this damn fog, he can barely even make out the silhouette of the Bentley fifty yards away. There is a lit streetlight close to where he stands, further down the street (around the car) none of the lights seem to be working.

From out of the fog Timour hears the sounds of shouting and running footsteps (moving away from him).

Unknown Englishman’s voice (somewhere beyond the Bentley) - “Wake up England! Wake up and bloody well account for yourselves. Wake up! Wake up now! You bloody wankers!”

Caroline (close to the Bentley) - "Let me go, you fools! Can't you see how pointless this is? There's no hope for any of us! Andrei was riiighhht."

Timour then hears Caroline begin to cry.

Maksim (also close to the Bentley) - "Andrei, Nethaniel, fer fuck's sake, get the car started! If we can get these two nut cases in before the thing takes another swing, we can drive the fuck outta here. We can't fight it, just run away! And can someone grab that nutter, Gwen!"

Maksim then seems to talk to urgently Caroline, but without shouting. Timour can’t make out everything that’s said, "For God's sake, snap out of it! ...doctor! We need you! Your friend needs you! ......doctor! ...job... ... .how fucking hopeless it is! Welcome to the war, Doctor Caroline! Welcome to the war and help us!"

At this point a woman screams with rage from somewhere near to the Englishman, and Timour gives up trying to actually see anything from his current position.
