"That's the main thing, yes," says Daniel.

"We haven't been informed of any further leads by the Russian government though our governments have been discussing this issue," says Mayer. "We are as yet still unsure why these maniacs want this expedition canned."

[Mr. Handy]

"I hope following up on this lead with the Chapel of the Grief-Stricken Mother will shed some more light on their motives," says Daniel. "It sounds like this group, if it's the one that's behind our troubles, may be some kind of fanatical cult. I don't know why they'd care about us going to Kamchatka, but it's possible they've heard about the Liltian Tablets and become obsessed. That happens often enough, but I've never seen the obsession turn violent or extreme like this before."

[Laraqua]

"That's possible," said Mayer. "We will look into it. We've just sent some men over to collect the last of your expedition members in Berlin. Hopefully they should be here soon. Is there anything else you'll need beforehand to ensure your safety? We will, of course, send some men with you to help you finish packing whatever it is you'll need."

[Mr. Handy]

"I have some things for personal protection," says Daniel, "but I already have those with me. Mostly what I'll need are my materials and supplies related to the expedition."

"We can escort you to wherever you need to go if need be, however, it would be better if you could describe what we need and we send someone to fetch it for you," said Mayer.

[Mr. Handy]

Daniel nods. "I'll make a list," he says.

[Laraqua]

Mayer sighs and looks at his watch. "Lukas Weber and Klaus Schmidt should be here by now. Have any of you spoken to them or contacted them before now?"

[Mr. Handy]

"No, I haven't," says Daniel. He takes out his BlackBerry. "I can give them a call, or you can call them yourself if you'd prefer."

[Laraqua]

"You give them a call. They might trust it more coming from you."

[Mr. Handy]

Daniel nods and calls Professor Schmidt.

Listening to the conversation Fransesca realizes they are about to get to leave, quite soon. She puts on her leather jacket again and gets up, eager to get moving. "So, we´re relocating to Russia before we properly take off on the expedition, right?" she asks Mayer.

[Laraqua]

"Right," says Mayer. "You should be fine once you're there." He turns to peer over his shoulder and out the window at the dark skies, thick with rain clouds. "Probably find better weather there, too."
