Re: Kitchen

"I'm not sure, but it sounds like a reasonable set of choices," said the stranger. "I must admit the temptation to just leave you to it is pretty high but ... in this instance I think I should like to stay."

Re: Kitchen

There are bands in place that hook them in using wooden pegs for anchors. It's relatively easy to remove the cups and plates. It looks like they're more secured against the whole cupboard moving rather than to prevent individual removal.

Re: Kitchen

There's a tall cupboard filled with cups and plates in the top part and empty sacks in the bottom part. The cups and plates seem rather secured, in a manner reminiscent of a ship, so that they wouldn't slide about. But why would they slide about?

"I don't know the meaning of the white rose, but I think it suits you too just by the looks of it," he said, and helped her select one from every type. "So ... the kitchen then?"

Re: Restaurant

He splits the sandwich in half and passes it to her before absolutely devouring the one he holds. Finally he says, "Should we take one of each? In case this vase situation is as the man suggested?"

"You're right that they may be useful later on," he said. "I recall one guest here who said he found something that had vases of flowers but he wasn't sure which was which. He was quite obsessed by it. Eventually he decided just to try it and see.... That was the last I ever saw of hi...

"Things change over time," he said. "Most of what comes holds strange hints as to what is truly happening ... but it'd take one hell of a mind to decipher them." NB: You could likely use these books to better understand the flowers currently in this room - allowing you access to ...

Re: Platform BEGIN HERE

The gloom is thick and dense around you, cold tendrils of fog snaking into your clothing and tickling your skin almost as though it were a live thing. Even the flashlight barely penetrates the gloom and you have a feeling that without it you would be standing in darkness. You can barely see the conc...

He nods and takes her hand, placing it on his waist. "Stay close to me. If I don't feel you, see you or hear you, you might go missing out there." Presuming she does, he'll head for the exit, turning on the flashlight once they're in the double-back covered blackout-curtained entry way and...

Re: Railway Station Waiting Room

A small and dark ante-chamber is built into the room from the front doors to keep the light from inside from spilling out. The curtain at one end has been thrown askew, revealing the door which is chained from the outside. The room itself is quite wide with scuffed floors and worn benches sitting ba...
