Re: Chit-Chat
The fun would be to put your characters in a room full of sympathy pukers. Now that would be funny.
Re: Chit-Chat
Could be a mixture of a couple of different genre locations, one being the many interlaced worlds of the dark tower series from King, with a smidgen of Silent Hill thrown in for good measure. Of course, since I am waiting to join the game, I have only read the threads for everyone and the chit-chat.
Re: Chit-Chat
I still think it's something akin to Silent Hill. So about this penis tattoo ... do they numb the area first or do you have to get 2-sheets-to-the-wind drunk first? If you get drunk before a tattoo, you bleed profusely. Been there, done that, and got a t-shirt. Damn near bled out on my first. Some ...

Re: Chit-Chat
ok, how did we get from dead deer to trixie's tattooed penis? And if there is a poll (pun intended) for the decision making on seeing it, I vote no!
Is there a smilie for "wiping mental image from brain"?????

Re: Chit-Chat
Actually, and historically, the tumbling effect comes for the old black powder rifles of the Revolutionary period. With no rifling in the barrel the ball tumbled (sometimes as much as 7 to 8 feet in any direction) towards the target. The advent of barrel rifling led to the through and through action...
Re: Chit-Chat
aye, captain. What about a character?
Re: Chit-Chat
Now that we have that cleared up, does anyone have a clue as to where Miss Scarlet or Laraqua might be? IT is going to be shameful if I have to start my own scenario just to have a game to play in....Does that count as playing with oneself??

1920s, 3 connected adventures, Greenland
I have a pretty good set of scenarios set in the US, Greenland, and Canada. Will need at least 4 PCs let me know if anyone is interested.
Re: Chit-Chat
Well trixie, I am going stone cold bored waiting to get in a game. So I decided to tromp around the site reading up on games and getting a feel for the atmosphere while I waited on one of the GMs to get back to me. So to make a short story long, I found this thread and dropped my version 1.2 cents o...
Re: Chit-Chat
Andrew, you spoke of the through and through effect of the 9mm. Have you tried either the Hornady Tap or the Winchester Ranger (legalized, marketable Black Talons) rounds? All come in 9, .40, and .45 ACP. Cuts down on the through and through. I clip the Rangers for in house use, offers very satisfac...
Re: Chit-Chat
The Beretta PX4 Storm in .40 is making headway as a primary carry weapon in Law Enforcement areas. The rotating barrel lock lessons the upward recoil and promotes continued target acquisition by pushing the arms in toward the body without lifting the wrists. I have one for home security and secondar...

Re: Ash - Always Available
How about a homeless war vet? Someone who saw too much overseas and is down to his last chug of rot-gut and one last bullet in the service issued Colt 1911. Sitting in an alley beside the cineplex asking the eternal infernal question of why did I make it out and none of the others in the squad did? ...

Looking for Miss Scarlett
Does anyone know the whereabouts of the player in question? I am working on a game by the same title, with the hook being that the investigators are all playing a game when one of the players does not post. The rest of the "team" meets up to try and locate the player, only to be pulled int...

Re: Keeper needed
I can take over the GM role. I have a hard copy of the scenario and can run it in that fashion. Let me know and I will catch up on the threads and see where they are and what needs to happen.

I shot you a character sheet Miss Scarlet. If you, and the group, don't mind a late joiner let me know.
