Despite himself, Father Flanagan leans over the metal box, his eyes alight with curiosity. "Funny, I would have expected a lock on it after someone went to all this trouble to hide it."

Father Flanagan, still on edge since the asylum, looks around warily as he helps Holly move their gains back to the cemetery.

"I'll see what I can do to help Dr. Chastain," Father Flanagan says as he follows Holly. "I'd rather not actively participate in the desecration of a gravesite if I can help it. He gives the group an apologetic smile as he leaves.

Father Flanagan shows Ian the ledger. "Can't make heads or tails of it, myself. Maybe you'll have better luck.' Father Flanagan hands Ian the ledger. "Do you have a head for numbers?"

While Holly and Christopher are searching the study, Father Flanagan begins looking around the ground floor, starting in the parlor. I may as well try to make myself useful , he thinks. If nothing else, perhaps I'll find out Henslowe's preferred cigar brand or something, and someone with more experi...

"Sounds right to me," Father Flanagan says idly, mulling over the day's events. "But how and why would a South American cult come here? This is... rather more than I was expecting to uncover."

OOC:   I'm happy to head straight to Henslowe's. Are we expecting trouble?

Father Flanagan raises a hand, then looks sheepish and lowers in again. "You mentioned that there was a very specific number of your group there that night, Mr. Job. Do you know why that was? Or what became of any... surplus members of your group, who may not have been there?"

Father Flanagan notes the names Job is listing. "Sorry to interject, but I was wondering if the majority of the recruits in your... group... were young people? Students and the like?" He smiles at Job. "Might help us start to get a picture of what Echavarria was trying to accomplish.&...

Father Flanagan tries to remember everything about first aid he learned as a military chaplain as he moves to help Clarence aid Christopher. "He bit your neck, Christopher. There's a bit of bleeding - we're gonna try and keep pressure on until we can dress it. How you feeling? Faint?"

Father Flanagan jumps back in alarm as the large man crashes into Christopher. With a purpose that might surprise those who don't know him well, Flanagan then moves to attempt to force the man off of Christopher.

Father Flanagan takes a second and composes himself. "Then again, my curiosity has been peaked... perhaps I will sit in." Flanagan runs a hand through his hair. "Apologies for the flip-flopping, it has been that kind of day."

I think at this point we shouldn't split the party. Let's all do the interview together.

"That may not be a terrible idea," Father Flanagan agrees. "I definitely need some air, and we don't need this many people in one interview. Chances are we will only frighten the man."

Father Flanagan smiles and nods at Fontana. "I'll be fine, thank you. This place just got to me. I just need some time to compose myself."

"Thank you Doctor, I think I will step out for some air." Father Flanagan looks around for a moment. "If you could point me to an exit? I've never had the best sense of direction..."

Father Flanagan stands, offering a final reassuring handshake to Henslowe. "I will keep you in my prayers, Mr. Henslowe," he says as he leaves. He pauses at the door. "For whatever that's worth."

"I don't think anyone would blame you or think less of you for running, Mr. Henslowe, especially after you'd already done so much," Father Flanagan says reassuringly. "I don't think I could name any man, myself included, who would have stayed to face... what exactly is the Thing, Mr....

Father Flanagan recognises the name "F.C. Kullman". "F.C.? As in Frankln Corman Kullman? I've read some of his work. He was an expert on occult theories. This group must have been serious for him to get involved."

"You were investigating a cult?" Father Flanagan leans forward, his face the picture of intrigue. "In an official capacity? What was the basis of this cult?"
